Design to seal the tumbler top seems well done, on phase 4/4-7days with polish. So far in the garage, out of sight and mind tumbling 24/7 sometimes we thing the EV car is running with the aC when going into the garage cause you basically set-and forget for 6 days per phase. I registered the warranty with this, and also got the free gift bag of rocks (we are currently tumbling the rocks we got from Manteca-great-wolf-waterpark-in the mining section-) and after the free bag- we plan to tumble any rocks we find on vacations. So far- it’s been a breeze to clean and prepare each set- I don’t know how many times u “twist” the final screw down- so just watch that- adult it doing that part do not over tighten or u can bend the metal/seal.We bought for the warranty and support and overall design/functions- we will see how it lasts over time. We had an old school (plastic belt) that broke. So I did like the drive belt on this one- it seems like it can be replaced- or a shipment part- the only thing that you need is oil lube- luckily I had some from my wife’s treadmill belt.One last thing- (I’m using old-corse-pregrit-pre polish-polish stage material from the one that broke above- so I have not used the ceramic pellets included- and u need to have a area you can “dump” ur grey waste in to dry out/throw away eventually. Kids buckets and a corner achieved this

I got the K2 Elite setup and it's perfect! First tumbler I've ever owned it it's exactly what I needed. I polished up some stones to get the feel for it, but then deburred some small aluminum rings and it handled both jobs perfectly! It's very compact, but also has a large barrel for things. Clear window in the front allows you to see it turning and tell if it's leaking, or if anything else is going on. Accessories that came with it are perfect, too. Emailed them immediately after getting it and within a few days, had myself another bag of really cool stones to polish up. Great communication. Great product. I've used it quite a bit since getting it. I would definitely recommend it. Especially to a beginner who doesn't know a lot about tumbling(like I was). Walks you through everything and makes it all very easy to understand so that you can get right to work.My only slight complaints would be that, it's not actually silent. It definitely makes noise. My wife and I do not run it overnight because of this. But, that's not a really big deal.Also, the amount of ceramic medium that you get is rather small. I ended up just buying some similar stuff from Amazon and have been using it. Once again, though. Not a deal breaker.Overall, great machine. Great price. Does its job. Easy to use. Compact. Versatile for multiple applications.I was not paid for this review. I didn't get the machine for free and am not getting compensated in any way for the review. I just really like it.

I am a beginner and always wanted a tumbler... I'm on the 2nd phase of my first go round and I am really impressed on how quiet this is. It isn't totally silent but my shop is only 12'x20' and you can have a normal conversation in the room and its just a low background noise.So far it seems to be working as described and it takes up very little space which is a big issue in a tiny shop.Customer service is spot on and Lily is fantastic at responding to messages.Thank you Lily for your attention and a fun product foe me!

I'm very satisfied with this purchase , we already had a small entry level tumbler for rocks the grandkids bring in from the beach . This one holds more , it's a better quality machine & it's quieter . The whole process of tumbling takes a month , to small children that seems like years , so I might actually buy another one and run multiple batches , so they see results every 2-3 weeks instead of once every 4 or 5 weeks .

I am impressed by how much the enclosure cuts down on the noise, I can keep it running under my desk while I work during the day. The timer and variable speed are nice additions. The information booklet and instructions are super clear. Customer service is incredibly responsive and helpful. My free bag of rocks arrived super quickly after registering the warranty. There was a part that needed replacing, and they sent me the replacement parts very quickly and were very supportive. If you are getting into the hobby but don't want the National Geographic tumbler making way more noise, less options and sub-par polish, I recommend this model. I do recommend getting a step 5 grit that's 8K+ to get an extra luscous shine.

Stones didn’t appear to be polished when I took them after the final polish!!!!

LOVE my new rock tumbler and was soo excited to see the offer of a free set of rocks; I texted the number and received a HUGE gift of rocks and I can't wait to see how they turn out! My hubby bought this as a gift; I craft outdoor fence hangings that incorporate glass rocks, air plants, and other natural cues, my tumbler will take my craft to new places! Highly recommend this vendor and this product!!

Very much enjoying the rock tumbler, and currently on the third stage of tumbling my first set of rocks. I received my second set of free rocks, and even received a third set because my tumbling kit was missing the jewelry mounting accessories, so Komestone made it right with additional rocks.Thus far, the rocks I am tumbling look great, and the product is solid. No issues, and the barrel is holding up well without leaks. I highly recommend this product.
