Is it possible to make both ends female on the 135 degree one? Thank you.

I believe the only way is to add a chrome union that has the female threads on both ends to the male end of the 135 degree elbow.

Can the elbow be locked in any position once installed?

Yes. Once it is tightened it is locked in position.

Can I use this in between the shower arm from the wall, and my shower head? (Not a hose).

Yes. I purchased it and used it from the pipe that comes out of the wall to a shower head extension(for extra height)
