I’m really happy with the Hollow Wheels. I was looking for the highest grip possible and these wheels accomplish it. They are pretty comfortable too and the range and free roll is 👌. They don’t come with the suspension inserts so I am going to get those, I’m excited to see how they perform. They wear fast in the beginning but I have been doing a lot of track days. I was really impressed during my last track day because there was a lot of dust on the ground. Many other people were sliding around but I didn’t really notice any loss of traction and I was still right behind the guys with pneumatic wheels!!

If Apple made wheels, they would have made the Hollow Wheels. From the packaging to the ride feel and grip. I’m really impressed with these wheels.I was a little skeptical at first because of how hollow they are but these are easily my favorite wheels. They grip like no other and I’m really impressed with the comfort as well.I have cloud wheels, ABEC wheels, but these are easily my favorite. My board is a Backfire zealot and it makes the board more comfortable and very grippy. I highly recommend

I was able to use these on my local street but not yet on the nearby paved trails. So far so good! These feel light (I have no weights added) and I look forward to learning how much my range has increased in comparison to my cloudwheels. I weighed them out of curiosity and the weight of one wheel with bearings was 10.4 oz, while my cloudwheel weighed 13.5 oz and a new 80mm urethane wheel was 9 oz.

The grip of these wheels are insane. Exactly what I wanted. Been riding these for 200 miles so far and when they broke in they got even more grippy and comfortable. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Lightweight so you get a couple more horsepower out of them compared with solid polyurethane wheels.

While these had really good grip I found them lacking in comfort. I just didn't like the ride they gave and were almost experiencing rollover from all the grip. I am a bit over the weight limit but not much at all these days. Maybe the extra 5-7lbs is what did it. So, what would be a 3 star I will bump up to 4 because technically I am at fault for being over the limit. I have used them for a month but ride time is semi-limited at the moment. These are good wheels and some may even love them just I did not. I really wanted to because they are just so cool looking. They will stay on for another month or two and if I find that I change my mind I will most definitely update. I will drop the weight and see if this changes anything but I seriously doubt it. They look rough so I also question the life of these wheels.

My son wanted these for his electric board. He really was hoping they would smooth his ride out a little bit more. He tells me that although his ride is smoother, it's not as much of a noticeable difference as he had hoped.The other thing you should note is that they do not come with bearings.I asked him if he would buy them at the price point again and he said he would. He felt that they gripped the road better. There is a time at the start of use that you need to get used to them and let them break down a little bit but once they break down he felt they were very grippy.Enjoy

From my experience, I don't really think this insert is likely necessary.SUMMARYOverall this is a wonderfully comfortable option to use with an electric skateboard. These Hollow Wheels are definitely way more cushy compared to the more traditional urethane wheels that ship out as stock with most boards. I also find these wheels to have both more cushion and grip than options like CloudWheels. The only thing holding these wheels back is if you are a heavier rider. Per the manufacturer's own description, this product is probably not for someone on the heavier side.
