I thi k these are adorable however more for older children for the fact it has small pieces. I personally would not allow a child under the age of 3 to use them. Possibly even 5 depending on the child. The puzzles are adorable and easy to put together. Wood is smooth no jagged edges. Would personally just use/gift to older children.
