Set three of these up. have 1gb cable internet going into one as a router and two as repeaters. only getting 10mb /sec out/each. how to speed up?

If installed on a pole above my second story house (30 Feet up) will it reach further, or is it best mounted at about 10 feet above ground?

I think higher is better. My lot is slopped downward so I mounted mine 10 feet up. At about 200 feet the signal is still great. It would be equivalent to having mine at 30 feet with my property slip!
