Find the sweet spot before you give up.
The first time I wore it (I only need it on one leg), it was so uncomfortable I had to remove it after an hour. I finally found its sweet spot, not too high up but a 6 inches above the knee. It was bunching behind the knee and was super annoying. But finding the right spot alleviated all the issues. It is a bit loose on my ankle and lower calf, but it is still compressing.I have rheumatoid arthritis and both of my thumbs are barely attached so I needed zippered compression socks or there is no way I could pull them up. These are so easy to put on! I do, however, need my husband pull the foot and ankle part off for me. My thumbs said, "No way!".I would recommend these to friends.

ok
Didn't fit me. Good product if my size. But it's very hard to guess what will work, even with calf and other measures. Foot is too big; calf is comfy; too tight at knee.

Not for under 5"
Purchased for post op hip replacement leg edema. First, product arrived a day late. Second, upon arrival and immediate opening, the odor of someone's dirty, sweaty feet was LOUD from the foot portion!!! Tried them on [ with knee highs] to check fit : easy to put on with sock aid ; zipper was sturdy but took 2 hands to zip; good fit and compression; too long- had to roll top thigh portion down; cut into legs causing pain even with legs elevated.I'm 4'11" , 140lbs

Great Concept Not Reality
I really wanted to like these. I almost returned them because they were too uncomfortable to put on after my fresh vein surgery. A week after I gave it another try because I liked the concept. Wore them for a few hours and the indents left on my leg from the zippers were horrible. At this point I wasn’t going to return them because I had worn them for a few hours. So the next time I switched the zippered side to the other side of my leg to see if that helped and it felt better. Worn them for about 7 hours (I was mostly sitting) and when I left work I went grocery shopping and I could feel the compressions a little loose on my leg and I pulled them up. The next day I wore them again now I have to constantly pull them up. What a waste. I guess I’ll use them until the compression is gone.

Nice price
The stockings work well for reducing my post surgery edema. The zipper makes getting them on and off easier. I had difficulty getting the size right going by their sizing chart, I had to send the first pair back and get 2 sizes larger. The quality is good and they are comfortable. I did have a problem with the stockings sliding down off my thigh because the top band may be too thin.

Snug, but seems effective for their purpose
I purchased these for a 17 hour flight to Australia and ordered a size medium, according to the size chart (as a reference, I’m 5’9” and 140 lbs, but measured my ankle, calf & thigh as specified). Yes they’re tight, but they’re suppose to be to prevent DVT’s! I was able to put them on without any help because of their stretchable fabric. I put my foot in first, followed by pulling the zipper together and zipping them up an inch at a time. Voilà, success! They fit comfortably under jeans as well as leggings. I’m glad they’re closed toe, too, for added comfort & warmth. I found them to be comfortable and suspect thigh high may be even more effective than knee high. I would recommend these to others. Just be patient when donning them!

Too big, too thin, but band itty bitty on proportionate person
These are useless. For many people compression socks/stockings are medical devices. While anything being portrayed and accurately for sale is a problem it is an even bigger issue when it is something like this. I’m very much confused by the positive reviews and can’t help but wonder about their legitimacy.I have a very height and weight proportionate body and legs. These things are huge around my feet with no compression and then barely any compression up from there BUT the answer would not be buying a smaller size because the band that goes around my thigh is very very tight. I don’t understand how they could make something so large and then suddenly make it so tight at the band. Even if your legs were larger than mine the weave is not tight enough to provide someone compression and that band would be too tight to get closed.Even if the top band to sock were more proportionate the reality is that the weave on these has the stretchiness of a pair of cheap pantyhose and there’s no way it provides any compression let alone the advertised amount of compression.I will say that I appreciate the band is thick and has those tacky dots in it to help it stay up and the zipper seems very smooth. I wish the pull tab on the zipper was not a stretchy piece of material so that I could actually use it to pull up the zipper. I don’t have any mobility issues at all however zipping something up the back of your leg is a somewhat awkward angle and makes it difficult to use the metal zipper tab to pull it up so I wish the piece of fabric attached to the zipper was actually something I could use to zip them but it’s a stretchy piece of a elastic that just stretches out and feels like it’s going to rip if I pull any harder.Overall they are not the worst in terms of individual elements however they just simply do not work at all functionally due to how thin and stretchy they are.

Really glad I purchased them.
I used these 6 weeks last year around this time, and again recently, post more vein ablation treatments. They work great. Very comfortable. Others have mentioned zipper issues. I have had none. My vein Dr. who did the ablation asked where I got them because she said she's only seen the knee high with a zipper, and she really prefers thigh high post surgery. A lot of her patients have arthritic hands and find the non-zippered stocking difficult to put on.
