Is there any reason this wouldnt be suitable for cats too? I have a very clever cat who gives me a paw when asked who i think might enjoy this...?

If your cat uses his nose to hunt out treats then it could work. However the pieces are quite chunky so it’s whether he/she is able to flick them out of place to retrieve the food. My dogs tend to lift them with their teeth or paw at until they dislodge. I will see if one of my cats can do it! Perhaps the less robust Trixie brand of dog games might be more suitable for cats as the pieces in some of those are more lightweight and easier to dislodge.

Would a golden retriever be able to use the Twister or would his paws be too big?

It is suitable for dogs of all sizes, they use their paws, nose and/or mouth.

Would this be suitable for a greyhound?

I expect it would be fine. They're clever dogs but my Labrador enjoys it even though he figured it out quickly. And you can make it a little harder using the bone shaped covers

Personally for a 6 month old puppy, I would start off on level one. The multi puzzle you are looking at is level 4. I started my gsd on level 1 the dog smart composite toy. She mastered it in about 10 minutes, but she had a better idea what to do on level 2 before progressing to level 3 & 4.
