This is a pretty color in a matte cream. Goes on easily and the little tube is small enough to tuck into a pocket. This has no gloss to it but doesn't dry the lips either. It wears like regular lipstick.

The formula of this matte lipstick is thicker than some others in my collection, so it takes a bit longer to dry. The color is highly pigmented. Thus, more than one swipe is probably too much because it's unnecessary and the product would be too thick. Once dried, there is some slight color that will come off when eating or drinking, but not bad at all compared to other brands. Given the medium/darker shade, I was expecting it to move around a bit, but it stayed in place throughout the day. After several hours, the pigment fades to a nice even stain. The thickness of this lipstick reminded me of the Too Faced matte formula, but this one is less drying and much less messy. Overall, I would recommend.

First off, I like the color of this lipstick. It is a deep, rich color and there is a lot of pigment. I get good coverage with one swipe. The applicator tip is different than anything I have used before and it works great. There is a point at the tip that makes it easy to outline my lips before filling them in.Unfortunately, when the lipstick dries, it becomes uncomfortably dry and settles into my lip lines. I don't like the end result. For it to be comfortable, I have to go over it with lip balm or gloss. In addition, it isn't longwearing so it rubs off and needs to be reapplied regularly.I'm newer to matte lipsticks so I may have expected something a little different, but as it stands, I don't know if I would use this product on a regular basis.

This lipstick is super matte. It was like putting thick chalk on my lips. The weird thing is, it FEELS creamy when I rub my lips together but it dried them out.I was supposed to get the 02 - 'gentle nude' color but I got something that looks closer to a terracotta color.I'm going to play with it and see if I can make it work with some lip gloss or something but by itself, it is not flattering.

This stuff is so cool. I wasn't sure what to expect, based on the advertising photos, but that's really what it looks like, although I think I put mine on thicker, so it was a bit glossier than the photos. It makes your lips look kind of airbrushed, which is really neat, because my lips are actually really, really dry and cracked with dry skin, and even tinted lip balms usually settle in the creases, but this didn't. I put it on once in the morning, and the glossiness wore off after a few hours, but the color stayed. I'm too lazy to reapply, and I was happy with how this looked. I got it in color #02, and it really brightened up my whole face. I really like this and want it in more colors.

This lipstick is certainly not long lasting, though I will say it's "non drying", it does feel moisturizing. I got the #2 color, but going by the pictures, it looks closer to #3. There are STRONG orange undertones in this lipstick. I like how it feels on my lips, but I do not like the color and, again, it's definitely not long lasting. It wore off within a couple hours.

This is a really surprising color and texture. It's like a whipped velvet texture. That doesn't make sense, I'm sure...But it's light and soft and the clay is soothing. The color stays a very long time. Almost stains. But it's the absolute perfect color for my lips.And the packaging is classy. Like a 1940's watercolor tube. Very nice.The applicator is great too.It is drying so exfoliate and moisturize before applying this lipstick. But it's beautiful.
