To use with Art instead I use the quick connect adapter sold on Amazon and instead of cutting the bottom plate to nake the canister fit simply remove the 4 screws from the bottom plate then inster the canister and lock in place then put the bottom plate back on and put the 4 scews back. Enjoy.

It does not fit all sodastreams. Description needs to be fixed to say exactly which ONE it works with. Seller didn't even respond to me wanting to return.

The first canister I tried was empty in no time. So I purchased a new Soda Stream. The next canister yielded 40 bottles. It is acceptable.

I am using these crew type cylinders with ad adapter for quick release and it works fine. These seem to last a bit longer than the ones from the appliance manufacturer, I surmise they might be better filled. I get about 30 to 35 of the litre plastic bottles carbonated, far short of the 50 or 60 the machine manufacturer claims - but good enough for me.

I’m happy with product. But I need a contact to exchange or return empties ? Where would I go for Empty returns ?
