KerasalBotanicals Intensive Foot Repair, Skin Healing Ointment for Cracked Heels and Dry Feet, 1 oz

I thought this would be like a lotion but it's more like a liquid and clear. I shook the tube a bit and it seemed to "thicken". Regardless, this product is amazing. The heel on my right foot gets cracked and dry (just that one, not both) and I used this product on my heel at night. It absorbs quickly so there was no remnants on my sheets. The next morning, I immediately noticed a difference. My heel was not as cracked. After using for a few days, the cracking is minimizing and my entire foot is getting softer. I had also thought, since it's "botanical", there might be some sort of smell to it (lavender, maybe?), but there was nothing that I could smell. I would definitely recommend this product!

I have extremely dry skin on my feet. I have tried all sorts of products for dry skin and they don't really make a dent, certainly not long-term. I was optimistic to try this product because it is a well-known brand and I have tried other products by them and was satisfied. I used this product initially by putting on my feet, rubbing it in, putting socks on and going to sleep. The directions said to rub the product in but I found it difficult to rub it in enough to where I would feel comfortable walking around barefoot. The liquid stayed on the surface of my skin and I'm sure some penetrated (it's possible I just used too much). I loved how my feet felt in the morning...so soft, not scratchy or dry and definitely not itchy. I've used this product for over a week and really my only complaint is that it coats my foot...almost like having a thin layer of vaseline on your feet. That can be an issue if you walk around barefoot. That's not something I do, so I'm ok with that, especially since it definitely softens and hydrates my really dry skin. I would recommend this for those who have really dry feet. As a side note, all the rubbing in of the product on to my feet really had a positive impact on my hands and their softness as well.

I wish I had taken a 'before' shot of my feet so I show the difference. It's amazing. Only one use and my feet are transformed. Two things you need to know: shake the tube before opening. No where tells you to do this so I didn't and a liquid splattered out when I opened the tube. Also, you will want to put on socks after application. This is an ointment so your feet will be slick and it will transfer onto anything your feet come into contact with. The socks also help amplify the results you get from using the ointment. My only issue is that there is no scent. With botanicals in the name I was expecting a lovely smell but there's nothing. Of course, that's a bonus for others with smell issues. If you have dry feet, this is a must.

I really wanted to like this product, especially since it was advertised as a botanical 'ointment', but there was no viscosity to the product. When opened, it comes out of the very firm tube like water, even after shaking. It doesn't seem to have a scent, but does feel a bit sticky. It didn't moisturize as is shows on the package, and I feel the cost is too much for what you are receiving. I would not purchase this again.

I was not expecting the tube to be a liquid foot repair that's petroleum free. I'm used to the petroleum Kerasal. When I opened my tube and laid it down on my coffee table a huge pile of liquid leaked out because I didn't know it was liquid so I now lost like 20% of the product. It's also very thin and greasy. It has an odd smell and left my hands feeling chemically even after washing. I much prefer the petroleum version because I'm not wasting product and it covers my feet well while I wear thick socks afterwards. It did not soften the hard skin on the sides of my large toes.

In Winters I suffer from visibly cracked heels and hard dry skin in my feet! I tried the Kerasal Intensive Foot repair and I am very happy with the results. I see a big difference after just 8 days of use which is commendable! My heels feel softer, moisturized and Nourished! The consistency is a little watery but a small amount goes a long way. It has the goodness of coconut oil, Shea butter & sunflower seed oil! The first ingredient listed is Glycerin which is very effective for dry skin. The fragrance is a little overbearing but I am happy with how well it works! I apply a small amount at night and massage it till fully absorbed and then immediately wear socks! Visible results in a short span!

I went to pop open the top with the lid as instructed and it got all over the place so that right away was not very fun. Next, the consistency of it was not what I expected, it’s clear watery liquid vs a lotion type substance. It also has not a great smell. I felt like I had to use a lot because of it being so watery. Overall it did immediately help overnight the dry spots I had on my feet but this is honestly not my favorite product due to the issues I had with it and I would much prefer to just use a lotion or something that is easier to apply and smells much nicer.

The Kerasal Botanicals Intensive Foot Repair made quick work of the dry skin on my feet! It is intensely moisturizing!! After a week of applying it at night and slipping into some fuzzy socks, my heels are no longer flaky and dry. I was shocked in the best way after the first night to see the dead skin was just flaking off. The dry skin on the bottom of my feet is also tremendously smoother and looks sooooooo much better! I will definitely continue to use it to keep my feet looking great!
