Purchased to replace triton bar cartridge shower where temperature adjustment was seized. This was a spanner get old unit off, straight forward swap with new washers. Fantastic quality, easier to use than triton. Easy to adjust temperature and flow rate. Highly recommended.

Great item. Solid feel. Great quality. So easy to fit...literally undo 2 nuts, take off old shower bar, and replace with this as all the existing fittings worked.

This was purchased to replace an existing fitting that was only 4 years old, however had 2 knobs on either side and the teeth that grip them to the actual taps had worn out.After some research, this design was the best to buy for ease of use (one easy to pull and manoeuvre lever to control both pressure and temperature).I paid a local plumber to replace this and whilst watching him work, realised I could do it my self (be sure to turn off your water supply if you do!). Its relatively easy depending on the fixtures/piping of the hot and cold water you're connecting to but it is quite literally 2 bolts!Been using this everyday for about 2 weeks now and it works perfectly every time, excellent and easy to use control. Its well made (as all Grohe products are) and finished without any burrs or imperfections.I hope this one lasts longer than the previous one - judging by the design and finish, I think it will.P.S also got it at a bargain price - watch out for daily offers!

Seems to be an excellent product which has now been fitted. However, the connection is a female one at both hot and cold inlets, so you may need a quickfit kit. Also, thecentre of the unit is about 10mm from the wall, so if your previous one was screwed into the wall, you'll need some silicone or a new tile. Otherwise, it seems perfect: easy to use, good function.

I have had trouble with our old bar shower for some time as I have arthritic hands and the bar shower was difficult to grip and turn. This shower is fantastic, the lever is so easy to use especially as the central position is the right temperature for me and my wife so all you do to turn full on at the required temperature is pull the lever straight forward. No effort at all. What could be simpler. Our shower is pumped so we get a really good flow rate but this gives more pressure than the bar, probably because it is ceramic. This changed over one for one easily because we already had the screw pipe fittings. It does not fit directly to 15 mm pipe without the conversion to screw. It also looks great.

I had a plumber fit mine but they were very easy to fit (x2), I should have done them myself. Much better looking than the shower bars I previously had.

Solid, reliable, simple to use.The single lever makes it simple to control water flow and temp mixture smoothly.If this is sold as a premium compared to other brands, this item is worth it in the long run.

Well made mixer, very smooth cartridge. using with a conventional tanked hot water system and a salamander pump working on both the hot and cold water supply to the valve. Whilst the mixer valve is rated for high pressure only, it allows the water to flow at the start with sufficient force to allow the pump to 'kick in'. This mixer was a replacement for an existing thermostatic bar mixer, 150mm centre of this product all ok for installation. Surprised that it did not come with any 3/4 inch mesh filter type rubber washers ( only supplied with the hard tap type washers ) but did get these from another supplier. Only drawback is that as it is a 'manual' mixer some form of index line engraved on it would be useful. Apart from this very pleased with the mixer.
