"beads" form a little too big, but ok. hoping that content is actually "pure" as described. no way to analyze. a little hard to apply to tree stump with drilled holes

Not powdered. Very tiny BB’s. Will require purification for some uses, crystalizes nicely with only some minor oily coating on top of the water afterwards. Works great right out of the bag to get rid of stumps.

I learned that Potassium Nitrate is the best product to remove tree stumps, but it takes several weeks to work. At this moment in time I can't give a thumb up or down to the product itself. I'll be back with a follow up. Disappointing was the long time to be delivered It took almost two weeks to receive the order in spite of the fact that it came from USA, not overseas.

Not sure what else to say, its Potassium Nitrate. Possibly the best priced on amazon by the lb. You can find it other places cheaper online, but shipping usually equals it out... Unless you are buying like 50 lb.

This product works just like it did when my dad showed me how to dissolve a tree stump. Drill numerous, 6-inch vertical holes in the stump, wet the surface thoroughly, and sprinkle on the potassium nitrate liberally. Wet again to saturate the powder without washing it off the stump. Now wait. Depending on the type of tree stump, it can take weeks or months to get good results. At my place, the stump could be broken up easily with an axe or heavy hammer.

I have a passion for chemistry/propulsion & this stuff is great when making fuel for sugar rockets. Additionally, you can use this to deteriorate old stumps you have in your yard. Drill holes, pour in a little bit then let time take its course.
