LOVE!!!
My ancient carry on soft side bag broke on my last trip, so I've spent countless hours reviewing and searching for the best replacement. The biggest complaint about luggage is the zippers break, and that's especially bad for hard shells. I also didn't like the design of the hardshells that zip in the middle with no access pocket on the outside like most soft sides have. That means that you have to expose all your stuff with 2 heavy sides to manage to open it. And if you have the expansion zipper system, that's even more problematic because it puts extra stress on the zippers. No wonder they break.Pros: THIS case has solved that zipper problem and it offers a lot of great features too. The cup holder is fantastic, very sturdy, stable, and it frees up my hands when need be. The wheels roll like butter in every direction. The extension telescoping handle is very sturdy too, no problems extending or retracting it. Don't use it to pick up your bag and you'll be fine. The bag has 2 handles top and side to make picking it up easy. The TSA locking system works beautifully and is well designed. The pop out bag holders and phone/ipad holder up by the handle is great, although I have no idea how much weight they can hold. That information would have been helpful in the instructions but alas, there weren't any. I love the deep box design so that it opens like a "lid" so all your stuff doesn't get exposed or fall out, and that "lid" is very light weight, with lightly padded pockets inside for organizing. Perfect to hold things you need easy access to. The shell itself is very sturdy, probably as close to unbreakable as can be. I read that magic erasers remove scuff marks easily, but I haven't needed to test that yet. As far as how much I can pack in it, it is a bit small but with compression cubes and a deep box design, I don't expect to have any trouble once I figure out how much fits and how to organize it. In fact I like this luggage so much I'm considering getting the 24" size for extended trips.Cons: The phone charger system has easy access with a cover to protect it so that's good. BUT no instructions were included in how to use it which is frustrating. The battery pack isn't included, so I bought a separate pack. The anker battery pack I chose didn't come with a charger so I had to go back and order one of those before I can even test it! wth? sigh. Because of that I haven't had a chance to use or test the phone charger thingy. I guess it works, if I can figure out how to connect everything. The luggage didn't come with instructions in how to use it. There are wires inside with 2 different plugs, but it's not clear to me how it all connects.Wishes: MIXI - please include instructions on how to use the battery pack and tell us how much weight the bag/phone holder on the handle can hold safely. That's ridiculous to not include that. It would be great if you bundled the luggage with the items we'll need too to make it easy. This kind of frustration is not the experience you want your customers to have, am I right? Also, I'm now searching for a duffle underseat stackable bag to fit on top of this one. It would have been great if MIXI offered them as a bundle or at least as an option designed to fit this luggage. So far I've tried 5 different underseat options from different brands, and am not delighted with any of them.Bottom line is, I LOVE THIS LUGGAGE! I've had a great time showing it off to friends, and everyone wants one too. :-) I have not had the opportunity to test it in the real world on a trip yet, but I anticipate no problems when I do.

Miss Green and Emerald
I got both the 20” and the 26”. I have some trips coming up and was in need of a carry-on and checked bag due to both of mine breaking.I haven’t used them yet but they seem to be made well and I like the top opening feature. The 20” was able to fit inside of the 26” for easy storage. We have limited storage so this worked out nicely. The primary reason I bought these were for the top opening feature and the extra gadgets like charging capability with a battery pack hook up, built in locking mechanism, cup and phone holder.I’m excited to use them during my upcoming trips and test out the features!*** 7/8/2025 Update: I have packed my 20" suitcase for an upcoming trip and I have soooo much more extra space than what I had using a clam shell suitcase. I love the design of these suitcases.

Very sturdy and great wheels
This is a very sturdy suit case. It holds a lot. The wheels are rubber and roll smoothly. I dragged this across cobbled streets in Scotland with no problem. The cup holder came in handy sitting in the airport. I loved the way it opens and has the straps to hold the top up. It was very convenient in a small hotel room.I had no problem putting it in the overhead compartment on the airplane. It will probably buy another one. I wish they came in more colors.

A great feature packed suitcase
This suitcase is awesome to use! Just came back from a 2 week trip to Japan and this thing can pack. I like how the opening is on top, makes it easier to pack and unpack utilizing the whole space. The wheels on this is also super smooth. The handle is solid as well not flimsy. I like the added touch of the bottle holder. You can also add a power bank to passthrough and charge from the suitcase but because of checking in, I could not store one inside. For the price this is a solid suitcase to buy.

May or may not be big enough, depending on length of travel/climate.
Ordered this 20" carry-on for trip to Japan, because of the top opening lid vs. clamshell, and cupholder.Pros:-Wheels glide smoothly-LOVE the top/front open lid-Handle extends and retracts easily-Locks for securing when needed-Ability to add a battery pack for charging phone on the go-Seems durable and very functional-Takes a lot less space in small/tight quarters, fits onto luggage racks easily-Simple/streamlined outer shell is attractive and has a little flex-Collapsible cupholder a handy featureCons:Too small/not enough capacity for more than a weekend's worth of clothing, shoes, toiletry items unless traveling to a very warm climate where all your items will be super lightweightNot expandableUltimately for me, the lack of capacity outweighed the pros for a week+ of travel where the climate will range from warm to cool. Debating on whether or not to return, as I can see it being useful for weekend travel/"go" bag for emergencies, etc.

Exceeded Expectations
I waited to take this on several trips before leaving this review, and I can confidently say I'm obsessed with this suitcase. All of the features work as expected - the wheels roll like butter, the cup holder is a GAME CHANGER (though I have had trouble fitting larger cups in it, a small coffee cup fits just fine), I love the built-in TSA lock and phone charger, and I've had no issues fitting all of the belongings I need in it for up to 2-week trips (with a laundry day). It's survived several trips during which it had to be checked. There were some pretty immediate signs of cosmetic damage after checking it, but I think it just adds character... I remember reading some iffy reviews, so ordering this was a leap of faith. All I can say is that I'd happily order this suitcase again if I needed a replacement.
