SVSPB-4000 13.5" Ported Box Subwoofer (Premium Black Ash)

Will be breaking it in for a while, but already sounds incredible! Using a Yamaha a3080, which has pretty low output LFE lines, but a little tweaking of the levels and sub gain and I have it running +8db over the rest of the speakers and it truly is amazing. I have a PB-2000 as well and I added the 4000 to it and have no issues, the PB 2000 doesn’t add a ton but fills in some nulls really shakes the room. I have a 26x26’ media room with one wall all floor to ceiling windows and they shake so much I’m a little worried about them. Will need to put rubber dampers behind all my pictures on the wall as they rattle like heck at about 36hz for some reason. Played some sub-30hz music videos from YouTube and the sub didn’t flinch, though my room did. It’s big, but honestly unpacking it was an easy 1-person job thanks to SVS’s thoughtful packaging, just follow the instructions and don’t go crazy hacking the box to pieces.

I wanted to really upgrade my home theater for my new house and after a lot of research I landed on the SVS PB4000. Fist, this thing is huge, however the fit and finish make it look like a pice of high end furniture, rather than an obtrusive eyesore. Ease of setup was great and the svs app made tweaking easy. Once in place, both music and movies sounded amazing. The bass is so clean and low, and the only noises came from our dishes rattling in the cabinets. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for tremendous sound, especially if you have a very large room.

So Far So Good. Only problem i have is. It smells idk if its the amp or the speaker. But i have it at -20 & It Rocks But That Smell Make Me Think Its Going To Die Soon. But Like I Said So Far So Good. Its A Monster.

This sub delivers the goods! I can hear a lot more depth and quality in the low frequency range. Music is crisp and movies are down right scary! Be careful for any pictures on the walls, lol

Very accurate, tight bass with excellent transient response throughout a very broad frequency range. Great for both music and movies.

Can't get much sound on it.

I bought two of these SVS 4000 Subs from local dealer here in Saudi Arabia however one of them stopped working suddenly in about one Month i barely use them i just sent a message to the dealer in hope that he will solve this issueI Owned in the past Jamo brand which stands for more than 15 years without any problems i know SVS is good Company but this is what happened to meSorry for my weak English Cus its not my native language
