Massca Dowel Jig X For Angled Dowel Joints

Building drawers is a snap! The dowels lock those corners in. Definitely use glue. I did read reviews on the jig slipping, so I used a beefy clamp. The joints looked great. I was impressed on the sturdy material and the center guide lines. For $30 you can't go wrong!

This worked well on some kitchen drawers I was building. Joint is strong, no glue needed and easy to use. I think improvement could be on the body of the part for easier/more clamping options.

Quality made but can be hard to clamp down.

At first I was a bit worried about finding 8mm dowel rod at the lumber yard but 5/16" is the same size!Beware - different lumber suppliers make slightly different sizes - even on supposed standard sizes.Hoping that the 'cross angle' dowel configuration holds better and there is a nice oblong dowel detail on the viewable outside adding interest to box corners.Something different.

Great jig! Really nice angled dowel installation. Will definitely get some good use out of this. Very solid construction. Now I want to see what else this company makes.

My husband ordered this and after using it, he couldn’t believe he didn’t own it sooner. It great for the money and makes all his projects easier and clean looking. We rebuilt our walk in closet and pantry and this was used. I even used it so it’s very easy!!

This is a great simple jig that is easy to use and adds a strong joint and with contrasting dowls, an intersting look to your project

so many applications for the woodworker/perfectionist.

Full disclosure - I have only used this jig on one small test box - as I have a much larger project involving three much larger boxes for use on photographer's set. While planning out countersinking screws and covering them with plugs, I found this jig - and preferred the idea of using dowels that are flush cut than the screw and plug method. So far the test box has shown great strength in the joints and I have very little concern with the strength of the construction of set boxes.
