I got this for my daughter. I tried it first, so that I would understand the effects as she has had reactions to many prescribed medications. There is debate as to when to take this, in the morning or just before bed. I took one just before bedtime. Wow. Extremely intense dreams all night long. I waited a couple of days and started on 1/2 capsule each morning. Much better for me in the morning. I was fine on the lower dose. Capsule comes apart to dump out part of it on a piece of paper. Taste is not bad to me, sort of like graham cracker dust. The taste does linger a bit. I quickly noticed an increased mental focus. I am an old retired guy and my peripheral thoughts were subdued, something I am not used to. My morning fatbike ride became more of a race as my times dropped significantly without really trying. Perhaps I was too focused. I decided to give myself a break from the daily dose. I will try again as it is apparently good for arthritis. Next I tried it on my daughter.My daughter has some anxiety problems. Her cortisol levels were at 20, just above the high value of normal. Her endocrinologist(Indian) did not see a problem with her trying Ashwagandha. After taking 1 capsule daily for about a month (along with L—Theanine, the main ingredient of green tea) her cortisol levels dropped to 10. She felt less stress and anxiety. Her hematologist has her blood drawn monthly so we are on top of every change and look for cause and effect. She continues to take this product daily.I just ordered my 3rd bottle of this product. I noticed many competing versions do not have 100% KSM-66. The trick of saying “contains KSM-66”, but it really only a fraction of the content. This product claims it is at least 5% Withanolides(100% KSM66). Many other pills do not say, or are only 2.5% or less, or you take multiple capsules to get the amount you expect in a single dose. Let the buyer beware. Lots of fake marketing out there.I would be interested to see the difference in taking the 100% Sensoril version of Ashwagandha. Some people prefer one over the other. Sensoril is extracted differently and is standardized at 10% and taken at a smaller dose, usually 125mg or perhaps 250mg. If I want to try it I will have to read the fine print on umpteen products to find 100% Sensoril without maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, or silica. Sigh.

This was the first brand of ashwagandha I tried (recommended to me due to KSM-66 and black peeper for better absorption). I was amazed by its health benefits especially alleviation of some PMS symptoms, cramps, and significantly improved regulation of overall cycle. Secondly I was grateful to notice decreased anxiety (especially respective to falling and staying asleep). I have tried other brands once or twice, but have always found this brand the most effective for me. Shipping is fast with prime membership, benefits far outweigh the reasonable price, and ordering is easy.

I have been taking this product about 3 weeks now. I have severe anxiety and I thought I would try this as an alternative to increasing the dose of my other medicines. It's been very helpful. I have a general sense of calm that would have been foreign to me before. I usually just take 600 mg (one capsule at bedtime) but if I'm particularly stressed I'll take 1200 mg. The only negative side effect I have noticed is that it does cause some drowsiness, so I would recommend taking it at bedtime. I did a some research before choosing this ashwagandha supplement and found this one to be the best choice because it is ksm-66 which is the type of ashwagandha that has been used in research. It also has black pepper for increased absorption and it is 3rd party lab tested so you can be assured it contains what it says it does without having to worry about contaminants like heavy metals.Update: I had little appetite while taking this supplement and puked one or two times a week. I didn't initially connect it to the ashwagandha but these are both side effects associated with it. I still think it's a good product but just not for me. I would recommend caution if you have a sensitive stomach and take it after eating.

I have tried many forms of Ashwangha but when I tried this brand, if you guys really read about how this company cultivates this adaptogen; you will see why it is so effective. If you do the research I major patent was put on KSM 66 Ashwangha and for a reason. It is herbal medicine. After reading about this company and with the price being very good I decided to supplement daily with three caps per day. After a month I started to feel less lethargic and more like me. CFS and reoccurring E Barr virus are intense diagnoses. My body couldn't really handle stims they simply burn me out but Ashwangha it is an Adaptogen and a great one. It indefinely seem to impact thyroid hormone. And in a positive manner it was like my glands in my throat literally became normalized after a month. Pain seem to diminish after a month and one week. Super focus and then test results I am beating very serious auto immune probs. I tell the truth. This is also something that renewed my limbido also strength added with lost empires stacks and pine pollen. Listen I don't get paid for this. I am not about fake reviews. But if your really searching for something that is qualified is cost effective and your going through something or you simply want to be healthier I have come to conclude that this Adaptogen is a must in this generation of toxity.
