These lights are, hands down, amazing! They were SO EASY to install, and look like they were professionally done. I always wanted lights on my house, but my husband refused to climb put lights up and take them down every year for Christmas. These lights mean I get beautiful house lights every day of the year and can change the colors for each holiday! Win Win! Our house was barely visible at night from the street. Now it looks beautiful every night. I have emailed customer service three times. They respond quickly and replace products if there is any question of satisfaction at all!!! They are incredible! The app is easy to use, and you can buy multiple strands and create a "group" of up to 5 strands and control them all together. Note: the company does not recommend to use more than 100 feet per controller. We do have at least 1 x 20 foot set connected to each of our 100 feet on our house, and it does not seem to cause a problem. We have 2 control modules set up as a group in the app, and our lights set on the timer to turn on at 5 pm and turn off at 8 am daily. It works flawlessly. I can not recommend these highly enough! And they are a so much less expensive than the big name brand.

Super easy to install as long as you don't mind ladders and use a second drill to do a starter hole. Other than that they are invisible to the naked eye when not on and look great when they are. Only thing I need to do is figure putting the receiver inside instead of connected to an outdoor source. Just doesn't look as clean.

Changing my review from a 5 to 1, lights began to have issues. The lights will not work. Keep turning off and on, and it is not a setting. There is not setting on the controller like that. It stays on for a bit and then turns off for a long period of time, unless there wiggle the chord.The Nexillumi Permanent Outdoor Lights have been a fantastic choice for year-round outdoor lighting. Absolutely love these!!! Easy to hang. We chose to screw ours in for extra durability. They’re very bright & the app is easy to use with many default lighting options & modes as well as many options for a DIY color scheme & mode. Very light, yet durable cords. I know a few others that have purchase these as well & they love them. Adds a nice touch to the house especially during Christmas time. But can change the color to white just to add elegance to your house throughout the rest of the year & can be used for any other holiday. These are so cool!

This review is a work in progress. My profession is in the scenic design business ans I work with a lot of LED products (mostly for television production) and I have a little above average expectation of the products I buy. I generally have to hook these products at work in weird configurations and using DMX light boards to control them. That said, I was excited to get more of a plug and play system for my house.The installation went great for my home and I was excited to have them do some basic patterns but I am disappointed in the limits of the app in that some of the "scenes" are unsophisticated and to my taste will only use 20% of them as they simply go back and forth on the home (like KITT in the old Night Rider show). I'd also like to be able to pinpoint a true middle light as a starting point. But the true reason for my writing this review is that it only took a week for the controller to stop working altogether. The lights can't be turned on manually with the inline power switch, the remote control or the app. I also could not get the timers to function correctly either. Both now are pretty much useless as the lights do not work at all.I am researching getting a replacement controller that has the same 3 pin connector that's on there. I'd even switch manufacturers to get a better programmable app if the pins line up. So... in conclusion, research replacement parts for these kinds of lighting BEFORE you buy any. Some may be proprietary and since they are probably manufactured over seas, this might be an issue (like I have).
