First off, decent build quality for the price. It brings in shortwave stations that you couldn't tune into at all without a product like this attached to the built in whip antenna. Overall pretty satisfied!

Works well to improve reception on most radios.

Antennae appears a bit flimsy..time will tell about durability. But..it performs well (new). Increased.my shortwave dx "catches" by almost 100%.

This increased my shortwave reception greatly over the whip that came with my radio. It also has a nice clip to attach to a whip so it will work with any radio. I just wish it included a 3.5mm to SMA adapter so I could plug this directly into my radio. I'm still looking for one of those. Especially for the price, this is a no-brainer.

It's nice that it was cheap. I replaced the antenna clip with a alligator clip for better attachment. It kind of tough to reel up but I hope it'll get better. Another fact I don't like is the lack of the ability to clip the antenna on to a metal fixture. A random length wire with an clip on each end works great because you can clip to a fence or tin roof.

Just wanted something economical. The antenna helps. My expectations were not high and this meets and perhaps exceeds my expectations.

First of all the build quality is garbage. They clipped it attaches to the end of the telescoping antenna on my radio broke after only using it twice. Reeling it back in when you're not using it as a chore and it won't stay put inside its chamber it simply unreals itself and I have to keep reeling it back in over and over again. One of the worst purchases I've ever made on amazon.
