Great bike!
My four year old son got this for his birthday and it was super easy to put together and felt like a quality bike when all was said and done. My son is 38” tall and it is a little big for him but he can still ride it successfully.The color is bright red and beautiful ( my son’s favorite part) and is as great value for the cost! We are super happy worth it.

5 year old got maxed out on his 12" bike so i got the 16". packaged great easy to set up. very good value. i have 4 kids and the 5 year old is the oldest so i need to get through the rest of them on this bike which i do think will happen! seems to be great quality. - mechanical engineer

Rear brake is not good
The overall quality is good but the rear brake is a "band brake" and is not stopping good.I see no reason why the company decided to install this? It is outdated and not safe.

Pedals removed, but...
This bike is great looking and solid but it cannot remove the pedal bars, just the pedals. So if your child is trying to learn without pedals there is a risk that the bar will hit their legs.

Very Nice Quality Bike
I got the 16" for my daughter's 4th birthday. It was very easy to put together. You just have to put the seat on, and the handlebars. Set up is complete in just a few minutes.One of my favorite features of this bike is that spinning the pedals backwards does not engage the brakes. The only brakes are the hand brakes. This might be something you don't like at first, but your kid will love it. When my first kid was learning to ride, it was always very hard to get started because you had to have the pedals in the right position before she could put enough weight on it to start pedaling. She would have to slowly roll the entire bike forward until the pedals were just right and then she could go. These pedals spin backwards so it is very easy for your child to put the pedals where needed in order for them to start pedaling.The color is very bright and the quality of the bike is top notch. The only thing I wish is that it came with training wheels. There are no training wheels so I purchased Royal Baby brand trainings wheels and they installed very easily after I removed the kickstand.I definitely recommend this bike for beginners, but it will also grow with them and be a good bike for many years.
