I bought a dingy 1900 oak dining table with five spiral legs that was in need of loving care and bees wax. I slathered paste wax on for three days and let the table rest for about about six more - to let the table absorb the wax. I then used a piece of an old bath towel to remove any remaining wax residue. The table is shiny now and beautiful. I love it.

this stuff is cheap, like suspiciously cheap. it’s got a consistency somewhere between cold butter and candle wax. don’t expect to scoop it like vaseline, you’re gonna be carving chunks out like it’s a block of lard you found in the wild.it works, sure, but you’ll need to either warm it up, smash it with a spoon, or just angrily finger-mash it into submission like you’re trying to start a fire with friction and desperation.overall it gets the job done, but be ready to fight it first. weird chinese brand vibes included at no extra charge. (Which is kinda strange, it's made in India....)
