Nice
I dont know about the ones in other reviews but mine is prefect. Everything is tight and feels good in the hand.

Hole is too large
Not bad looking, but the hole where the sword tang goes into the handle is much too large to replace the broken handle on an old stainless Taiwanese katana blade I found laying around. I could probably fill it with epoxy and use it, but epoxy is likely to break under stress if the sword was ever used. Not bad looking.

Exactly what I would expect!
It was exactly what I was hoping for. It’s a well-made handle and I would recommend it if you’re looking for a replacement or trying to collect pieces to build your own custom

Neat, but keep expectations reasonable
Believe all of the constructive criticism you find in the other comments here. This variety of handle options is no different than what you will find on most (decent) budget grade katanas. They are interesting to look at and pretty to handle, and I have ordered a few of the different styles offered here (DB13, 15, 17 & 19) - primarily as a desktop doodad, but also as a (kind of) deconstructive study aid.You can find a tighter wrap elsewhere, but you can also find much looser wrappings as well. I did notice that the last handle I received had a (slightly) tighter Ito wrap than the first few handles that were delivered. Some have their "presentation knot" on the wrong side, if that particular detail matters to you at all.The hardware is budget grade, as you would expect to find on many sub-$500 katanas - nonferrous and easily destroyed with a hammer..I have not yet installed any of mine, and most likely won't.These will probably require some fitting at the Fuchi collar because the opening is nearly 8mm thick and 20mm from spine to edge.IF (and I mean IF) you plan to slap this right on to a blade, without any kind of expectation for fitment work - look somewhere else.Or, if you keep expectations reasonable, and accept that this might not (perfectly) fit your particular sword, then maybe you will enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine. I did order a few of them (with reasonable expectations) and have not been disappointed.Since they do come from the other side of the planet, these handles will take a couple of weeks (maybe 3) to arrive. But I do enjoy mine, and you might enjoy yours too.

Perfect For Custom Builds…
The handle arrived in excellent condition and much sooner than expected. I purchased this handle and a tsuba from this seller for a custom build using a Musha shirasaya blade. Will purchase again in the future. Thank you!
