PEBEO Phosphorescent Gel - Colorless

Pebeo is a professional brand of Mediums. This is colourless but it's also luminescent and gives a gel-like texture to your paintings. It's actually clear, not white as the picture shows, but it's white in the tube.I used it today with great success.I certainly will buy it again.

I wanted a glow in the dark clock for the bedroom. I bought this glow gel and a twin clock pack from Zon. Painting is 20" across. I wasn't expecting the gel to work well, but was pleasantly surprised. A trial painting first then I went for it. Used a soft 1" brush to apply gel to the dried acrylic. I built up the white moon and waves with paint with several layers. Then I applied the gel. all over but more to the white. Although a creamy white, the gel dries perfectly clear over the paint. Photo doesn't do the 'stars' justice but they 'pop' in the dark. After charging up all day in daylight, it all comes to life in the dark. A tiny blob in a peak then same with gel. Glow last three to four hours. I notice there are several colours for this gel so I'll by the set and paint some bonkers painting. The clock keeps good time by the way.

The glow fades really quickly - less than 20-30 minutes even. I am going to keep it though - looks cool in pictures etc. , and it's good value for money.But I will try a different brand - I need it to last for more than an hour. Make sure you apply a thick layer

Great product. You do need to add a good thickness for a good glow but I only tried on black card which is pourus

It simply didn't glow!!!

I had a large (1x1.5m) canvas of jellyfish, painted with acrylic, which I wanted to make glow in the dark. I added the product on in blobs with a brush rather than painting flatly. It works fantastically!

Takes a bit of layering but once it's on thick enough it glows really bright and looks great! Definitely recommend as a cheaper alternative to those £20 tiny pots of really professional stuff

This is exactly what I was looking for. It really is colourless and as you can see in the first photo you can see the dots and bits I painted but turn the lights out and you can really see it! Really love this paint and if I need something glow in the dark I will be buying this product again. Also great value for money.
