KeyUnity KM24 Titanium Carabiner Leather Keychain Clip with Detachable Strap for Men & Women

The titanium carabiner keyring arrived well packed in a plastic casing. There was lots of advertising material included, and I always worry in these cases about unecessary packaging and environmental wastage, but that is not what this review is about!The keyring itself looks fine. It is extremely lightweight and without the leather strip, the titanium itself is featherweight. Even with the leather strip attached this will hardly add to the weight of the keys or whatever you are carrying on it.It is true to the size shown on the sales information so this is not a criticism but it isn’t possible to fasten the caribiner to a trouser belt loop and keep your keys in your pocket. In my opinion and extra inch or two of leather would have made this keychain more useful at least from a security point of view.The spring mechanism on the carabiner is interesting. The spring is achieved by having a series of tiny slits in the metal which allows movement with finger pressure. I didn’t know that titanium would be as flexible as this shows it to be, and the arrangement works well. Presumably the lack of an actual spring adds to the lightness.So overall I like this carabiner keychain, but at the current price of £32.99 I find it very expensive even given that titanium is a relatively expensive metal. Looking on the Amazon site there are less expensive titanium alternatives albeit without the real leather strip. I will rate this at 4 stars. If you are looking for a keyring that is a bit different and special, then this should fit the bill.Edit: I just thought I would add that my wife pressed me to clean the labelling off the plastic casing (see image below) and it looks quite good now. She thinks it will be useful for transporting her jewellery when travelling, so my concern about packaging wastage has reduced!

For the price I was quite disappointed overall, the packaging the keyring came in feels incredibly cheap and dose not seem to match the aesthetic of the keyring. Came in a plastic pinkish box, the keyring itself is nice however, again I do not feel the quality reflects the price.
