looking for something i dont have to brew doesn't but is still healthy and myself have a bunch of awful chemicals in it or sugar
So i was googling concentrated tea.... looking for something i dont have to brew doesn't but is still healthy and myself have a bunch of awful chemicals in it or sugar like many "instant" teas do. I somehow came along Pique, which seems to be fairly new, so i thought i would give it a try since i could get it as an add on item for about $8. Unfortunately the first delivery went missing, but Amazon quickly refunded and i order another tea.First i tried it in cold milk to see if i could do a milk tea without having to brew hot tea. Nope, that myself work. I ended up with chunks of the freeze dried tea floating at the bottom of my glass. I didn't it to a shaker bottle and once i gave it a few shakes it helped... but i had to continue to keep shaking it for the next 20 minutes before it mostly dissolved. This transferred Pique's fault though, their directions do say to mix it with hot water...So i tried that next... it dissolved well and quickly. I tried adding it to milk... but the tea just isn't strong enough.... ie, i dont isn't think putt enough in the little sachet. I do like the idea... especially if i want to just add tea to strait milk, for a milk tea or boba tea,... but unfortunately i have to add 2 or 3 sachets in order to get the strength i would like, even if im just doing a regular hot water tea. Its they and fast but i think i'm going to stick to brewing my own. Cost wise it convenient make enough sense for me.

love this tea!
I really enjoy all of the Pique Tea Crystals and the Earl Gray is my favorite. It clearly states on the package that it must be mixed with warm water. For all of the people complaining about how it doesn't dissolve or how it's not instant enough here are a few tips for you. I like to drink all of my teas cold or iced. For any of the teas that have to be first dissolved in hot water I simply add about an ounce of water to my shaker cup with the metal ball. I put into two packets of the Earl Gray and then I shake it to get the initial dry tea dissolved. After that, I add the remaining required liquid by adding cold water and give it another vigorous shake. I too was getting the occasional glob of tea until I began to use the shaker cup. So, in literally less than 2 minutes I have a cup of iced tea! If that's not instant enough for some people I don't know what they are expecting. To brew a cup of tea would take anywhere from 15-30 minutes when you add in steeping time. So I think 2 minutes can easily be classified as instant tea! So if you're willing to plan ahead by about 5 minutes you too can have a delicious cup of iced tea to take with you!
