Better than a traditional UPS!
Shown in the photo is a DJI PowerStation working as a UPS to provide protected power to Wi-Fi and PC equipment. I'm using the new DJI product to replace an EcoFlow Delta 2 unit of comparable size (~1024WH), as the DJI product is silent versus the EcoFlow which periodically makes noise when charging. The DJI PowerStation competes against EcoFlow, Jackery, etc. DJI is well-known for drones, cameras and microphones all of which use purpose-built batteries designed to provide the most runtime possible in a cost-effective, small form-factor. This new PowerStation is equally as impressive as the DJI drones! Fit and finish is polished. Specs are better than competitors in the same price range. Outstanding! The new lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery technology is perfect for portable power when at off-grid locations, works in tandem with solar, wind, generator or other time-based power sources, and is a better mouse trap for uninterruptable power supplies (UPS)!Primary difference between 'common' Lithium Polymer (LiPo aka Lithium-Ion) batteries (used in phones, laptops, etc.) and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries (used in this DJI Power Station) is the number of cycles or charge-discharge occurrences supported. The lower cost and more common LiPo batteries are typically good for 300 ~ 500 cycles, while the LiFePO4 batteries are good for >3000+ cycles. If you cycle the battery once per day, LiPo batteries are good for a year or two, whereas the LiFePO4 batteries are good for ~10 years!!!Note -- LiPo batteries in phones laptops and power-banks are infamous for swelling and getting hot - even catching fire or exploding - while the LiFePO4 batteries are considered much safer (albeit heavier and bulkier).I'm looking forward to more of these LiFePO4 products coming to market and driving prices down, as the technology is far better than what is commonly used in most traditional UPS batteries. Over the next few years it's likely that all UPS manufacturers (e.g., APC, CyberPower, etc.) will offer LiFePO4 products. The DJI PowerStation specs state 20ms switch-over from line power to battery when used as a UPS, while the EcoFlow Delta2 specs state 40ms for switch-over. Both products work great as replacements for traditional UPS, but DJI wins as the quietest product, making no discernable noise when charging. As the price continues to come down over time, I'm installing these PowerStations everywhere I previously used a UPS to protect valuable electronic devices and provide protected power during outages. Love it!

Power Up Mr. Scott
Amazing backup generator. I bought the adapter and 640W panels. I’ve used it twice this year for power outages. My deep freezer, fridge and WiFi all ran fine and used less power than my panels brought in. I charged in 70% sun during the day and it kept all my appliances running all night w/o worry. Next will be an additional panel and battery storage. Great item, ignore the bad reviews.

Cool product with portability, high power, and a fast charging speed
Recently I bought the DJI Power 1000 Portable Power Station. I think it totally exceeded my expectations especially during the road trips.2200W Output Power: one of the most outstanding features of Power 1000 is the 2200W output. It can handle almost all my devices like coffee machine, kettle, freezer and so on. My wife and I always spend our holidays RVing. In the evening we can use the car refrigerator, camping light, and charge phones as well as OP 3 at the same time, and it still has power left in the morning. Its 1024Wh battery capacity can keep my appliances charged for longer. I can keep refrigerator running for nearly 20 hours, which is totally enough for a camping in the weekend.Recharge quickly and easily: Recharging Power 1000 is very easy. I always charge it with grid power at home when I packed up my bags. It can be fully recharged in just about 1 hour.Quiet: We used to get problems with the noise of other power stations. When other generators power some high-watt appliances, they are very noisy and would disturb our sleep especially when we spend the night in the RV. But this one is much quieter. When it works, I can hardly hear its noise. Although it might not an important feature for all people, I think it would be attractive to all RV and camping enthusiasts. To my surprise, with all these amazing features, it's quite light and portable. Overall, it's a great purchase.

Fantastic if your software works and output is okay.
I GIVE THIS MACHINE FIVE STARS FOR ITS POSSIBILITIES.There are severl problems with this power station. If the unit is internally damaged your output will drain obviously too fast and the unit will turn itself off. Then there is the software which won't work. Return that unit, get a refund or contact DJI repair... BUT remember to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR START UP.There is a secondary function on the AC button. One push and it goes into ECO mode where it WILL TURN ITSELF OFF. There should be a sticker on the machine with start up instructions. This AC button has to be pushed a SECOND TIME to be on CONTINUOUS charge. The green light pulsates on ECO mode and is solid on CONTINUOUS. The AC has to be on Continuous in order to update and you should be charged to 100%. This is all important. The Power 1000 has a notoriously low real time total Watt Hours. BUT it will put out mucho wattage. And there's an additional battery to add more watt hours and another 1000 watt capacity. In other words it'll run everything but not for long... If you only use this as a power station, DO NOT UPDATE YOUR SOFTWARE. That is mostly for drones and could lock up your Power 1000 so it cannot be charged anymore.DJI software is notoriously difficult and there aren't any fixes. You don't need it. When working normally this unit has a low watt hour tally. So it will drain more quickly than you might like. But it's ability to power large wattage items. was what I was looking for for my power tools. The quicker drain and large wattages capacity is normal for this unit.My Power1000 refused to charge after my software upload. It sits useless... I wouldn't touch their software. But this unit was just fine until their software locked it up.
