No. You need to buy Olympic weights for it. They'll have larger holes for the thicker bar.

What is the actual weight of the bar?

I believe it is 37.5# which works great for me. It is solid and easy to move. When putting weight on, I just count it as 35 for simplicity

Hi, can you load more than 300lb on it?

It says a few times in the description it can handle up to 500 lbs sooo..
