I simply inserted the included CR2025 battery (which was a bit tricky to install due to the child-safe design, but I appreciate the safety feature), pointed it at the soundbar, and it was good to go. The compact size is a huge improvement over the bulky original Bose remote, and it has all the essential functions like power, volume, and input switching.The build quality feels solid for the price, and the silicone buttons are responsive. If I could give more stars I would. Just like the rest of the reviews out remote broke. Bought this remote for out Bose speaker. Opened package up inserted battery and BOOM speaker turned on!!

I lost my remote to my Bose solo soundbar and without it, the soundbar becomes useless. You can use a universal remote but some feature may not work. So I purchased this hoping I can have full use of my soundbar again, and it worked flawlessly! Would absolutely recommend if you have the Bose Solo 5 soundbar

It is well made and works great. Very small, sometimes hard to find.

Product is much better than the tiny version from other sellers. Fast shipping. Only time will tell how sturdy it will prove to be.
