All-time great action film, with phenomenal Blu-ray High-Definition picture quality
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I'm not into action-adventures usually, but this is a very exciting, big-budget film with a terrific plot, outstanding dialogue, great direction, and a number of outstanding actors, led by Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman. It's VERY well made, and is quite clever, hip, and incredibly enjoyable and memorable. On top of that, the Blu-ray has simply beautiful picture quality, it's hard to believe that a movie from the late-1980s could look this beautiful on one of today's High-Definition TV's, but they obviously shot it with top-quality equipment at the time, and the remastering of the Blu-ray was top-notch.I recommend this product most highly.

4k Review
4k review. Disc played fine. Movie looked nice in 4k - no complaints. The movie itself I think is a little overrated but is a classic.

Great Movie, Great Product!
The 4K Blu-ray is easily the best way to enjoy this movie. Everything is shown in great detail without running into issues like compression you would find on a streaming service. Not only is the visual quality great but the audio mix was also done quite well!

Argyle is a frickin G. Al is literally the main character.
I really enjoyed watching Argyle punching Theo. He is a G fo dat. You may think the John McClane is the best character, but not, it's Al. He literally saved the day. He had a W redemption arc too. (John had W rizz tho.)

Review for the BLU-RAY!
Amazon really messes up combining reviews from every edition of the movie on one page... I don't think I need to say much about the movie, Die Hard is a five star action flick that still holds up after 30 years. I just upgraded my old DVD to the 30th anniversary Blu-Ray. The Blu-Ray seems to have a crisper picture, but it's not all that big of a difference from the DVD. And it REALLY suffers from the dialogue being a lot quieter that the music and sound effects. I'm constantly turning the volume up and down to hear what people are saying. Long story short... If you're a die hard (ha!) fan, or NEED to upgrade to Blu-Ray because of your player, this is a good buy. If you already have a DVD and are just a casual 'watch it at Christmas' fan, there's really no reason to buy this version.

Yippee ki-yay!
"Die Hard" is an outstanding action movie. New York City police detective John McClane (Bruce Willis) travels to Los Angeles on Christmas Eve to visit his wife played by Bonnie Bedelia. Their visit at the Nakatomi Plaza where a Christmas party is taking place gets interrupted by a band of terrorists led by Alan Rickman. With outstanding performances by Reginald VelJohnson and Paul Gleason, this now classic action movie from 1988 is definitely worth purchasing on 4K / Blu-Ray!
