Helpful, basic tool
I am just starting to learn about fiber testing, just happened to need this on a job yesterday, so great that I had just received it and grabbed it before I left. The batteries/power/charging is confusing. My laptop USB C charging cable doesn't work on it but other cables do work. The instructions that come with it says that lithium batteries can be charged via the USB C port but lithium batteries are not normally rechargeable. So, not sure if it means lithium-ion batteries which are rechargeable. It does work on regular AAA batteries.

Very cheaply built.
Not a good product. Very poorly built. It fell apart in about a week.

It was just the one piece you didn’t have the connectors for fiber with it

Big screen, multifunctional
I've been looking for a versatile OTDR with a large screen, I'm committed to maintaining a fiber optic network but most of them are costly, I'm glad I found this groword otdr, it's versatile and very affordable compared to other otdr's!

Nice to keep in tool bag
I wish I could say I've used it other than just a little testing to make sure it works as it should. I was hoping to give a detailed review, but to be honest, all my jobs since I got it have been Cat6, go figure. So I haven't had a decent job to use it on yet :-(
