Salty
Arrived on time. Sensibly packaged. In good condition. Would buy from the seller again. Was new to using Celtic Sea salt. At first glance, it looks grey, and the crystals of salt are large. If you are looking for a healthy salt? Unbleached, and packed with minerals? This is for you.

Exactly what it should be
perfect, exactly as I had hoped. I like finding items that are just what they say they are no disappointment no surprise just what you expect or should be able to expect.

Tasty, no iodine
I was curious about this salt. I've been to Brittany, and visited salt flats where people still use big wooden rakes and collect sea salt the same way they have for hundreds of years.According to Wikipedia, the Celtic Sea "is the area of the Atlantic Ocean off the southern coast of Ireland bounded to the north by Saint George's Channel; other limits include the Bristol Channel, the English Channel, and the Bay of Biscay, as well as adjacent portions of Wales, Cornwall, and Brittany." This salt is from France, and the packaging says it's harvested from "the pristine waters of the Celtic Sea."This is NOT "fleur de sel." That salt comes from the same region but is quite expensive, white, delicate and comes from the very top of the salt water ponds, harvested with rakes. This coarse gray salt, on the other hand is damp, gray, coarse, harvested from the bottom of the evaporated salt pans. The gray colour comes from the high-clay-content soil that the salt sits on once the water has evaporated. This salt can be used for finishing (= on food after you've cooked it) or during the cooking. According to wikipedia, gray salt is a moist salt, typically containing about 13% residual moisture. "Because it is a moist salt, it does not suck all the moisture out of food when used as a finishing salt, unlike kosher salt (which is designed to absorb blood and other fluids from meat)."This salt is delicious and I think the gray colour is quite beautiful. I put it in a small white bowl on the dining room table and it looks very organic and natural. The packaging received is somewhat different from the packaging shown on the site. This doesn't bother me, as my salt package just sits inside my kitchen cupboard.
