Just started taking it yesterday and got on the scale this morning and saw I lost 3 pounds already. Follow the directions. Take on an empty stomach and drink plenty of water. The recommended dosage is 1-2 pills max a day. The last pill should not be taken within 6 hrs of bedtime. Like any supplements, you have to start off with 1 pill to see how your body reacts. Then work your way to the max dose when you feel your body can tolerate the effects. When I just need a minimal pick-me-up to get me started during the day, I take 1 pill followed by a 2nd pill within 1-2 hours later. If I'm about to workout, I will take 2 pills together. I feel it working within 30 mins - 1 hr after taking. You will feel a bit flush and warm, and will probably perspire a little (if you take 2 pills together). You will get thirsty, and you will pee alot. I was taking a prescription diet pill that made me thirsty, but it made me retain water no matter how much I drank. I don't take these on the weekend, so that my body can rest and not build a tolerance to its effects. I prefer this supplement because it makes me feel like I'm actually sweating and peeing more. Ok, I don't remember ever writing an Amazon review before but I have to for this product. I've been using a few pills (apple cider vinegar, etc.) to help aid in weight loss but so far I haven't seen any results that make me go "wow". I don't expect to go "wow" but with this product I go "wow".I've been using these pills for only 3 days, the first two days I only took one pill. Then, after the second day, I ended up gaining 3 pounds because I was eating fast food (cake, mac and cheese, cheetos, chocolate) all day and just laid in bed. I don't usually do this but I was depressed, bored and teleworking at home. So on the third day, I took two of these pills and worked out hard (50 mins on the treadmill & some strength exercises) due to knowing how bad i ate the day before and the weight i gained. After weighing myself the next day, I LOST 6 POUNDS. I was 131 (on Monday *didn't workout, ate bad*), 134 (on Tuesday *ate bad so worked out*), and 128 on (Wednesday). Wow, I have never had drastic results like this before. In the past, I would workout all day and never reach that amount of weight loss. I used to fast all day and workout and STILL only lose 1 pound a day. I wouldn't eat and I worked out two-three times a day, slow results. Currently, I have met my weight goals after all these months so I am maintaining my weight. I eat REALLY BAD (junk food) but workout (4-6 times a week) so I stay the same weight. These pills have allowed me to keep the same routine but drastically lose weight instead of just staying the same.*For my health, I eventually want to change my diet, it's a uphill battle...*I love this product and I am very excited. I have lost 25 pounds (before taking this product) which took me 8 months to achieve. After using this product for a few days, I'm already exceeding how much I had to struggle to lose months before (at a higher weight!!).I found out about these pills after doing extensive research on how the body loses weight etc. I don't just buy products because they say they increase weight loss, I always have to do research. I used this off and on for a month. mostly for working out. the tolerance for me built very fast. took it one day, felt amazing. took it the next day, noticed maybe half or less of the same effect. I ended up taking this one day on and one to two days off and it worked a bit better. though, during all of this my stomach was very angry with me. like a light switch. take it? stomach effed up. dont take it? stomach back to normal. I decided that it isn't worth taking as I value a well functioning gut. searching for an alternative. might try a different brand as well. workouts when this stuff was working were INSANE.note: i took this for the energy. not the fat burning.
