classic 'puus', if you're a bodyboarder you already know. i just started surfing them so ill let you know about durability at the end of the season, but they fit like the old ones, i think the description mentions a new manufacturer

Reliable
Have been kneeboard surfing for over 40 years . Kind of heavy and big compared to other brands but last. Have used them bodysurfing, boogie boarding and kneeboarding, 'works good last long time.' Was the industry standard since the beginning of time. They are stiff compared to most other brands I've gone thru.

Awesome fins
I recently started training with these and love them. They are the perfect size to provide some assistance but not make it too easy, and are very quick to take on and off. they are also lighter weight then others ive used before. they make a noticable difference in the swim and I would definitely buy again

River-boarding, extreme use, years of use, stay on...these new XL are way too small
Use for riverboarding. The whitewater center in Charolette, with very abrasive cement finally did my old pair in after around 7 years. Stay on your feet in all conditions if properly sized(= takes a serious effort to get them off, if they practically fall off...well) would suggest going big on size and wearing neoprene diving boots (standing on a ruler 11.5”X 4.75” foot, with Aqua Lung-Manta, US12 dive boots, size extra large fins worked fine for me in the past but not now). Used in class 3-4 rapids and ocean never even close to loosing them ( so don’t much care if they float). Dive boots help protect feet from blisters. Have run rivers with people with adjustable strap and shoe type fins who have lost them in the rapid…very bad! Photo is surfing "M" wave which puts a serious pull on everything not on the board. Just tried these on and they are way smaller than the same size fins I bought 7 years ago. In the process of trying to stretch them with boards. Wrote to manufacturer they don’t recommend stretching or heating to increase size. Left a 11” board in for two weeks and it did increase size, unfortunately not enough. Now trying a12”x2.5x2.5 needed a pry bar to put both boards in.Took both boards out today and still will not fit over my dive boots like the same size previous fins did.I would try these on immediately on receipt, and not rely on previous sizes as these run much much smaller.

Sometimes a reissued product is well worth the gamble - these fins were great.
Seller sent fins our quickly… came in thrashed, albeit intact box. Fins were new, or more precisely probably a “try on, doesn’t fit, return for refund” kinda thing. These are the same fins, albeit kids size for my daughter, that I’ve used for the better part of 40 years. Purpose for purchase - an adjunct for bodyboarding (and a bit for snorkeling). I LOVE MY fins.As for fit: my daughter has a wide foot, a woman’s size 8, and her foot fits a bit floppy in the foot cavity of the fin, but she hasn’t lost one yet, so we’re inclined to keep them as her feet - god I hope not - may still grow. Even if her feet do, a tight fit is normal, but if the forefoot/toes were too tight on trying yours, and there may be SOME degree of that - I’d go a size up. These, unlike some shoes, will not stretch to fir… they’re rubber, pretty sturdy.Wash them with fresh water after use in chlorine or salt water, store out of the sun and they should last years. Enjoy your fins!Hope this review helps.
