Great fragrance
Great fragrance, really nice. Not sure why talc is so hard to get and so expensive now though?

A pleasant change from the 'classic' version.
I bought two different Yardley talcs to try. The Gold one was out of stock when I ordered it but I was notified when stock would be available and it duly arrived. Compared with the 'Classic' version this one is a little stronger scented. It is fruity and musky but not to excess. I enjoy being able to use a different one to suit my mood.I note that this is branded Yardley and looks just like the original. This one is made in India. I don't think Yardley market these talcs in the UK so I am glad to be able to still buy it.

Substitute for Imperial Leather....at last!
Expensive (compared to Imperial Leather) Yes. But in a world where Imperial is gone forever....Yardley 'GOLD' is a reasonable replacement. It's mainly a 'single note' scent, unlike Yardley 'Gentleman' (in the black tin) which has a very confused & feminine scent in my view. This Yardly 'GOLD' has a more masculine scent, and after I had it for a while I realy like using it now. As I said, it is a lot more expensive to buy than Imperial Leather...but it does come in an up-market tin and not a cheap red plastic bottle like Imperial. And we don't really have much of a choice for Talc nowadays....do we? On balance, I recommend it to you. Thanks.

Nice Talc sham about the packaging
The Talc is very nice and as no one seems to sell it any more online is the only way. Unfortunately, the packaging needs to be rethought, bubble rap will not do. The top of the container has been bent in transit. It is still functional but not aestheticly.
