How many watts is the usb-c? (newer iphones need at least 20 watts)

I believe the specification from the manufacturer is 50 Watts per USB output. I remember it being more then enough for my Phone and large Tablets. Everything I have plugged into it charges as fast as I would expect. Any limitations in charging speed are from each individual device itself.
