I travel way too often and must carry a bunch of supplies for my feeding tube as well as clothing et al for 2-3 different climates each trip of 6 weeks. Delta airlines baggage handlers have destroyed my last 3 Samsonite large suitcases with no recourse. My son recommended AWAY! What a FANTASTIC SUITCASE! Superbly designed for frequent travelers with incredible warranty’s. Very strong outer case with terrific interior design to make packing for 6 weeks or more much better. The website is OUTSTANDING for wonderful ideas. I plan to purchase the carry-on next.

Just got back from an international trip, and this Away suitcase crushed it. Tons of space without feeling bulky, super well-organized inside, and the wheels? Effortless. Glides through airports, train stations, cobblestone streets—you name it.It handled international travel like a pro, fits a surprising amount, and still looks brand new. The design is sleek, the build is solid, and it just works. If you travel even a little, this bag is worth every penny.

Great construction, light weight.

Good looking bag that works well too! So many pockets. The outer shell is somewhat flexible but seems durable enough. The center divider zips into one side so it doesn't all spill out when you open... and of course has pockets. The other side has compression straps and another divider, rather more sturdy than typical.Smooth rolling wheels. Nice bold color. The TSA-approved lock is a bit fiddly but nice to have that built in. Zippers operate smoothly. The handle has a soft rubberized finish and locks at two different heights. A luggage tag is included, as is a sponge is for cleaning. I did not however receive the storage bag.It weighs in at a very reasonable 12.8lb.

The shell/zipper area of this suitcase cracked after one nonstop flight. Away customer support is unable to help me honor the warranty for a replacement because I bought it through Amazon.

I am a big fan of Away luggage. I have been using the Away Bigger Carryon for a while now and when I needed a larger bag, did not hesitate to get the larger checked bag in the same blue color as my Bigger Carryon. I absolutely love the blue color--it is gender neutral and classic. The only downside I have noticed is that since Away bags are so popular, it is important to include a bright or distinct luggage tag. I was drawn to Away due to the great reviews online and from NYTimes wirecutter, but I was hesitant at first to spend so much on a bag. I realized, however, that I had spent more than this on inferior bags over the years that did not end up working for me and ended up being donated. I was looking for a "buy me once" item and Away has not disappointed. The compression feature makes such a difference for packing. On a recent cruise I could not believe how much I fit in the bag. It really is a workhorse. Although fairly basic, the special organization touches really make such a difference. The pockets are great and I love that it includes a dirty clothes bag and luggage tag. It also includes a sponge to wipe off scuffs, which you will definitely need. My one complaint is how easily it scuffs. Everytime I take it on a cruise, it comes back with lots of scuffs, which at this price point, I was not expecting. In terms of ease of rolling, I do find it easy to roll. I always carry off my own luggage on a cruise, so the fact that this bag rolls so easily is a huge help. Although I tend to use my bigger carryon the most, this checked bag is great for longer trips and cruises. It fits so much stuff! Love the color and my only complaint is that I wish it did not scuff so easily.
