My old speakers only worked partly and these were so easy to plug in and my sound is good again. i have a Dell Desktop tower by the way. so liked to be able to get Dell speakers that were compatible.

I was not expecting a lot from these under $30 speakers. I purchased them because they are USB powered, cheap and match my Dell XPS desktop.They sound surprisingly good for cheap speakers - not a lot of bass, but better than the HP-204 mini speakers they replaced. If you turn up the bass in the Realtek equalizer, they are listenable for pop/rock music. Not Hi-Fi by any means, but useable and they don't need an AC power supply. The volume control is semi-hidden on top of the right speaker, but it works and the sound is loud enough for casual listening.Can't beat them for the price.

I'm actually kind of impressed with the quality of these speakers, considering the price. I have a tiny desk, and I was afraid they would take up too much space, but they fit perfectly. It's been a long time since I've had a desktop, and I was happy to find that these had a USB power cable that plugged directly into the computer, instead of a big clunky plug that took up half my power strip. They also get pretty loud! If you're a huge quality snob, you might think their sound is a little muffled, but over all, I'm very happy with these. :)

Very disappointed with this product. When I received it, I was missing one of the plug-ins which would be for the iPhone. It was never sent to me when I sent them an email and they responded. It worked great with the iPad but then the piece that goes into the iPad came apart and could not be repaired. I was going to buy another one and I thought no I’m not going to do it.

Needed a set of speakers to use with a laptop, was not looking for anything super high end but better than what was built-in. These are good quality speakers and good value for the money. They do require you plug in the audio out and also the USB to power the speakers. This is a positive in that from what I have had in the past it is easier to carry around and more functional (not tied to where you can plug speakers into the wall) than a traditional wall powered speaker. A fully USB speaker set would have been a step up from these but for the price and quality of speakers I think this was a reasonable compromise. These are not really intended to be highly portable speakers so having the extra cord is not really a major concern in my opinion.

Not a very loud volume. They work easy to set up but not loud enough for me.

These work great and are a great value. It's a good sound quality for computer speakers, especially for the price. My monitors did not come with speakers built in so these are replacing the awful speaker that is built into the computer. My only complaint is that I have spread them as far apart as the cords will allow to provide separation of the left and right channel and the cords actually spring them back to the center because they are so light weight. There is no rubber on the bottom so they slip very easily on the smooth desk top and the cords are folded over each other into a Z shape instead of rolled so they get dragged back to where they are plugged into the computer until there is no spring left in the cord. I'm amazed how springy they are.
