With the lid open, the height is approximately 36.5".

When you put this trashcan against the wall and open the lid, will the lid hit or scrape against the wall?

The lid itself won't but the black clip thing that connects the trashcan and the lid will touch the wall. As long as you don't put the trashcan all the way against the wall but leave at least half an inch of space in between, you'll be good to go :)

美しく容量たっぷりのゴミ箱

センサーは電池が結構すぐなくなるので、面倒なのでこちらにしました。ナイスルッキングでたっぷり入るので使いやすいです。今まで使っていたゴミ箱は中が2つに分かれていて容量が少なく、頻繁にゴミをすてていました。またカビが蓋の裏側についていることに気か付いたので、今回は、生ごみなど濡れたものを捨てた後は、しばらく割りばしなどをひっかけて開けたままの状態にしています。
