Q: will this work on driveshaft u-joints on cars and trucks

Q: What is the outside diameter of the tip? I have a very tight spot to get to the zerk.

The diameter is 3/5 of an inch. We also offer tight space adapters if needed

Q: whats the diamiter of this tip ?

Outside diameter of the tip is .630 a tad over 5/8”.

Q: Will this work with recessed grease zerks with nearly exact dimension for standard coupler?

The OD if the LockNLube Grease Coupler is 5/16 (16mm) which is about 1mm larger than a standard coupler.
