For such a mundane thing, it really elevated the luxurious feel of my bedroom. I'm sure my downstairs neighbors are happier too. Definitely go with the 1/2 inch felt pads.

This helped pad a thin rug. I hit 3/4 inch. Should gave hotter 1/2 inch. Adds padding and comfort to a thin rug.

Great rug pad. Makes the rug look so much better, more comfortable to walk on. I did put some thin rubber things under the corners to keep it from scooting around

I bought this rug pad to use under a 8x10 area rug in my living area to make it more comfortable and hopefully to extend the life of the rug. My floors are a hard plank vinyl. The rug didn’t slide around since it is anchored by furniture, which is why I purchased the all felt pad.After reading some of the other reviews, I thought I may have to cut the pad t make it match up with the size of the rug. The pad was easy to unpack, didn’t have a bad smell. I measured the pad and it was the exact size of my rug, 8x10. No cutting needed. Maybe depending on the brand of the rug people have, it may not be true to size? I don’t know, but am thankful I didn’t have to cut the pad to fit.This pad makes all the difference in the world as far as comfort. I have used the pad for a month now and still love it. There is a noticeable improvement walking and sitting on the rug with the pad. I wish I would have bought it sooner!
