Would this work to keep dogs out of my yard? My neighbors dog keeps jumping the fence.

If he's jumping a fence, he'll get a big surprise on landing. Depending on the size or stubbornness of the dog, it may take a few jumps in different spots over the fence before he gets to thinking that he'll get some owie paws to not do it anymore. In my opinion tho, it will work. My big dogs don't like it. The one dog won't go near it even if he see's a neighbor cat that's running outside. He used to go nuts at the window.

Has anyone tried these as a means of keeping wild rabbits away from trees/plants?

Purchased this item for cats, and it does not work! So disgusted! I plan to request my money back. This is made of very cheap material.

Are they hard points of bendy? I have children and wondering about them playing next to the mats.

They are hard enough that if someone fell into them it would be painful. The mats are a deterrent for cats as they are uncomfortable. Most others would find that to be the case as well.

Has anyone use this on roof to keep the crows away?

I use it for cats. I don't know why it wouldn't work. The are not comfortable to walk on. The spikes are not pointed. The tips are cut off.
