This stuff lays down nicely, and it covers REALLY quickly and smoothly. Great stuff.....I painted my jet ski with this and the duplicolor color match clear.

Very unique blue color
My husband discovered this color originally at an Autozone. He is always getting cars and fixing them up/making them look nice. A lot of cars he's working with are for show or the tracks which with those cars they take out the whole entire engine and then paint the engine bay so it "pops" and looks clean/neat. He always is suggesting this color because it's a deep dark blue that when the light shines/hits it there's tiny tiny flecks of silver making this color pop like crazy! Especially when used in engine bays on black cars, gray, white ect. It's a very unique looking color. Autozone unfortunately stopped carrying it and it's become impossible to find any stores locally with it at all or if in stock has 2-3 cans tops in stock. Depending on car size some bays can take up to 6-8 cans of spray paint to have an even, smooth looking finish. Thankfully Amazon carries this particular color and he's able to order 6 cans at a time. If your a blue color lover that pops I highly suggest this one. The cover on the can in picture does no justice. It is that dark, but it sparkles much more.

Metallic Blue
The color and metal flake is quite good. You have to take care applying the spray paint and it must go over their primer with a significant build up of primer as the paint will show any imperfections. The sprayer on the paint can is not the best I have used but it is adequate. The spray pattern is only a bit over 1 inch so you have to be careful with getting good over spray. The paint dries very quickly and the can states respray in 10-15 minutes so you can build it up quickly. You have to be careful with what type of clear over coating as you can get some bleeding of the color. The metal flake is very nice and worked very well for a guitar body project. I used the Dupli Color match clear coat and had lots of issues with the spray can nozzle spraying small droplets of the clear coat which caused the metal flake to melt and turn dark where it hit it. If not for that I would have had a perfect finish. Can recommend spray metal flake but not their clear coat.

Avoid. Quality of the spray is very bad
One can was 5 star the second -10 stars..It leaked none stop. I should get an replacement but this is not refundable item. After long conversations with customer service I was offered to contact manufacturer for replacement or get refunded.I did get refunded by Amazon. But I hate this whole process. I have to beg for refund, their automated system tried to tell me that I can't get one because item is not refundable. My advice go to your local store and buy it there. It would be much easier to talk to associate and get resolution.

Go for Dupli-Color!
I highly suggest Dupli-color paints... they are my GO-TO when ever I want to repaint anything. If you want your project to turn out well, you need two things: your choice of Dupli-color paint and TIME. If you try to rush a spray paint job, you will waste your time and money. Start with a good primer and make sure to wet sand it with 1000 grit paper. You want a nice smooth surface! Several light coats... don't drench your project with one coat. The metal specks looks fantastic! I've used the blue in the past... just purchased the green for my bicycle frame.Sometimes the spray trigger gets clogged, just take the cap off, pour some paint thinner in the small circle in the center of the cap & let it sit for 10 minutes. Then tap the cap with the hole pointing down as to remove any possible debris. Wash/blow it out and you should be set.ALSO- If your paint starts to drip... SHAKE YOUR CAN WELL! Like... when they say shake for 1 minute vigorously, they mean VIGOROUSLY. & don't forget to wear a glove so no paint gets on your hand (it's a pain to remove from skin / finger nails)GOOD LUCK & hope this helped!

Pleased!
I'm pretty pleased with this paint, especially considering it's a rattle can. I was curious about the results using different base colors. I did a quick test using identical pieces, one primed flat black and another unprimed with its original beige color. The black primed piece is on the left. For my purposes, I sort of like the beige base better but honestly, with a second coat it isn't likely to make a huge difference. The coverage is good and it seemed to exit the can evenly. No runs, no uneven bursts. I applied it outdoors in low humidity, temps around 65-70°F, on an overcast afternoon with no breeze. I also bought a can of the green to try. After good results with the red I'm optimistic about this product in other colors for my needs.
