Braun BT5050 Beard Trimmer for Men (Multicolor)

Works fine and great build quality. Leagues better than the Philips trimmer I had bought for Rs. 2500 2 years back. Love the length settings and the way everything is put together. Gives a premium and solid feel, unlike the flimsy feel of my previous trimmer.Edit: 4 years later, it is still going strong. Haven't used a razor even once after I got this. I also use this trimmer for cutting my hair in this pandemic. It seems to have blunted a bit as I get a slight shadow now and battery lasts only for 1 hour continuous use. Still working well enough after 4 years of no maintenance. Absolutely worth it.

Very very sturdy and precise. The detail trimmer is so intelligently Incorporated that its very convenient to use it. 0.5 mm steps help a lot for layering. Charges really fast and works upto 50 minutes depending upon the beard density.But if u put it to rigorous use for a long time it gets discharged even during a cords use.Also, for this price they could have provided a few more attachments.

FOR BRAUN BT 5090:It has been almost 3months.Had quite high expectations from this product unfortunately not quite so. After the honeymoon days with it, finally it’s felt, not quite the trimmer it’s advertised as.I was initially with phillips mg7715. And it had so many accessories that I needed an alternative, given the choice between the two now, I would still go with braun. However if I was not limited between this two, I would probably go with other brand. My father recently bought the Remington, beard boss(~4k). Almost the same price as these models and it’s so efficient. Braun is alright however needs too much work.Pros:-- Impressive feel and style. The rubber grip on the back, combined with the precise comb dial feels good. The feel factor while trimming with this feels like no other trimmers I have used before.-- The brush supplied with it is nice. Thick and helpful in removing the hair, keeping the appliance neat.--Machine oil supplied along side.—A hair clipping attachment works fine and helps in case we are too occupied to visit the barber and needs to trim our head to minimal.—Battery is working well and it has been regularly used for appreciable time in these 3months.Cons-— Requires too much effort and more passes than normal to get an even trim. The blades heat up, and you think this must be having aggressive teeth and high speed motor. Not quite so. I really need to move it on an area so many times to get the trim done evenly— The trimmer teeth are indeed abit aggressive. Without comb it does brush against skin, bruising it red. The small precision attachment doesn’t do so.— The precision attachment is a good stylish attachment and effective when it comes to defining beard lines around your lips. However it’s quite weak and useless for anything else. Like, defining lines for small areas of your beard. Or shaping inner edges of goatee.All in all I would say this trimmer is more about the looks and less about the work being done. At this price your expectation might not match with its performance. If you have hard beard you might not see the problem much, but once you keep stubble lengths or trim stubble, you’d probably feel it too. It’s quite inefficient for soft beard

Been using this product for over a month.Top 3:1. Battery holds charge for at least three trims. I generally spend approximately 10 mins per trim.2. Very smooth, till now not a single hair has gotten pulled off/ stuck3. Low/ negligible vibration. It has a very solid feel in the handBottom 3:1. If I have to point out something, it would be the oiling regimeSummary: brilliant product. A little pricey but if you average it out over 2.5 years (assuming the battery would last that long) it would pay off.

After 6 month of use i have found that i have wasted my money in such a product.Problems I have faced in this product :-1) After the use of 5 min the blade of this trimmer become so hot that you can't use.2) While using the trimmer your facial hair will stuck in the detailed trimmer.3) Its very difficult to use if you put the trimmer's comb, as the hair will not get into thar comb and it will be very difficult to trim.4) Detailed trimmer makes your trimming painful as the hair just get stick into the blade.I will not appreciate this product as i am very disappointed with this product.

Excellent trimmer with great build quality. The rubber body provides good grip and avoids it from slipping from your hand during use. The travel pouch holds everything well except for the charging strand, which can be kept home anyway during travel. The charger chord can be directly used for charging. Charging time is less as compared to any other trimmer. Can be used as a everyday styler for men. As compared to Philips / Panasonic / Remington , the material quality used in this one is far superior and it feels good in hand. Although, everything is good there's one downside - the precision cutter extension - it's a bit shaky and loose. However, it doesn't affect the overall functionality. Excellent product from Braun.
