For those who are not sure whether to use this product or the Aveda Invanti 3-Step system, my pros and cons are provided below.Aveda Invanti 3-Step System - Very good smell, only need to use just a little bit of both the shampoo and conditioner and they lather pretty well using the palm of my hand without too much effort. The entire system does wonder for the look and feel of hair, makes hair look healthier, soft and shiny. I purchased the system (shampoo, conditioner and revitalizer), very expensive at $116 and the entire system lasted me about 3 months for the main purpose of preventing hair loss / enducing hair growth. I initially noticed less hair falling off but about 2 - 3 months after use (everyday showering), the amount of hair I lost was about the same, if not more, comparing to before I started using the system. That was when I decided to switch to Pura based on the reviews I see online.Pura - Comparing to Invati, the conditioner has equally nice smell, this one more manmade smell than the Invanti as the Invanti has ginsense smell. The shampoo however has a very strong chemical spell in my opinion. I use about three pumps for the shampoo in order to get it to lather up. The trick is to use my palm and massage it quickly without stopping. I use about two pumps for the conditioner to have a decent smoothness. However, I did notice that using 3 or more pumps of the conditioner makes my hair a lot nicer and softer. I've been using the product since December 2, 2014 and have noticed less hair loss. My hair seems thicker and fuller. I haven't really looked closely to see if I see any baby hair growing (according to most of the reviews) but I feel my tiny bald spot is somewhat covered now. My hair definitly has grown a lot longer so I take that the product is working as advertised. I shower in the morning and sometimes I wash off the shampoo and conditioner in less than the recommended amount of time needed for the product to work as intended. Will have to try a bit harder to leave them on longer but I'd definitely say it's so far working better than Invanti. The price is much better as well. Will provide update by the time I finish the bottle.

I really enjoy using this serum on my scalp! Not only does it just feel and smell good (a little tingly and a light herbal smell), it really does seem to help my scalp and hair. When I use it more consistently I notice less shedding in the shower and throughout the day.Typically I just apply a little bit to a few spots around my head before bed and massage it in. Within a day or two there's less shedding. I'll sometimes use it in the morning in the same way, and it's never made my hair look or feel oily, which I really appreciate!I'll definitely keep ordering this, and plan to try some of their other products, too!

The first time I used this I didn’t notice much help w my menopause hair loss but I think it was because I was putting it on in the AM after washing my hair while my hair was wet. I stopped using it but was going thru my stuff about a week and a half ago and came upon the half used bottle so decided to try it again. My hair was coming out like crazy - a large clump after every wash. I do wash nearly every day. I started using it again but this time at night, massaging it in well. It smells herbally at first but the smell goes away after it dries. In nearly 2 weeks my hair fall has decreased SIGNIFICANTLY. I just ordered another bottle and will continue to use at night. It only takes 30 seconds to one minute to apply and I’m all done. I like that it does not contain any minoxidil.

I have ordered this seven times and it used to work great for me. The last bottle I received didn’t seem any different, but after second use my scalp is covered in small blisters or pimples. I’m also losing hair. I don’t know if I developed an allergic reaction to it or what happened.

Yup, can still claim I have a full head of hair (a bit of a stretch of a statement perhaps) thanks to this product. It lays on well, the scalp loves it - it seems to calm it. There was a time when I felt it increased the amount of hair I have. Lately, I feel it has slowed down the receding significantly. Use as part of a good overall health regimen to maximize results. Good nutrition is key.

Keep the faith hair loss fam ! I have PCOS and other hormonal factors combined with androgenic alopecia. I previously had been using Rogaine for years but it was causing a lot of hair growth on my face, neck and hands. Eventually I wanted to take more of a holistic approach.
