As it turns out, not all outlets can be ‘cleverly’ hidden behind bespoke upcycled driftwood cutting boards—especially if they’re in the bathroom or some random hallway. (Unless that’s the vibe you’re going for, which, well, weird, but you do you!)For the rest of us who are tired of generic white, dull beige, or, even worse, outlets covered in layers of old paint, know that you don’t have to accept this fate. Your dream DIY interior design can be fully realized with colored outlets!Seriously! If you have access to your breaker box, these are super easy to install. Pair them with an upgraded wall plate cover, and you can completely transform any room with visible outlets.

This GFI outlet works just fine, it fits the box and all the screws go in and out. I did however find it a bit tedious to install. There seemed to be limited space to get a 14 gauge wire to fit around the screw terminals. It does not have "back stab" posts. Maybe it was just me because I was stooped over under a short, dark, wooden deck and kept banging my head on the joists while I was wrestling with thing to get it wired in. All good in the end.

One of my pet peeves is the bright green LED lights on newer GFCI outlets that constantly stay on. They look terrible and illuminate the bathroom at night with an unflatting color. We had to keep our primary bathroom door shut because they lit up our bedroom too much.This GFCI fixes all that by only lighting up with a tiny red flashing light on the rare occasion it's tripped. So, annoying green light problem solved!Very happy with this GFCI outlet, and I paired it with a Lutron cover. Looks so much better than what I had previously.

Updated our bathroom and the old ivory outlet looked ridiculous. Tried getting a paintable one and that was awful....paint wants to scratch off with use. So pleased to just get the black one.
