Works great right out of the boc
The antenna came very quick. It took only a couple of days, which is impressive as it was send from the UK. I mounted it temporarily on a heavy umbrella stand on ground level using the marked provided. It took me less than 30 minutes. I attached 25ft of coax to my FT450d. I checked between 28 and 3.5 MHz and the SWR was decent mostly and if not the tuner in the FT450 could fix it. I did use it for a week now on FT8 with 50W and I had contacts world wide. If you need an antenna for improvised field day in your backyard then this is it.73 N0LSR

Simple solution
I am new to HF radio - spending most of my time on 2 meters and 70cm. I do have a hf rig, so wanted something to be able to use it.This does the job. It sticks into the air 6 meters, and I have it on a 10-foot pole attached to a fence post next to the house. It didn't require any radials, just a ground.I have currently made contacts 400 miles away both north and east on 80 meters (with a tuner), so it certainly provides what my transciever needs to be used. I'm sure there are better antennas out there, but for simplicity, small footprint, and cost, this is certainly usable.

Good performance in DX contacts on 20 meter and 40 meter band.
Fast shipping from UK to Upstate NY. Installed at my hunting camp. Quick install to fascia board at roof line. Approximately 20 feet up. Very poor instruction sheet but setup is not bad. Using Yeasu FT-891 and LDG autotuner it tunes up 1:1 SWR on 40 meters easily. Takes longer to tune to 20 meters and tunes to approx 1:1.6. From upstate NY I called the island of Malta (distance is 4632 miles) on 20 meters and made the contact very quickly. Later made a contact in Chicago. My station was using a car battery for power. I then contacted the Republic of Panama using a 12 volt battery on 20 meters (thats 2392 miles). Will update as to durability in wind and weather etc. Update 9-6-20 Antenna has become very noisy compared to my dipole. I took it down and removed water and dried inside. Replaced cable and extended another 4 foot higher. Still noisy and poor reception compared to g5RVjr. Update 6-1-21: The antenna has lasted several foul winter storms and been up over a year with no issues. The noise is from interference with a TV inside. When I turn everything off( other than the radio, the antenna gets quiet and works well.

It works but not great
First of all I have been licensed for 55 years, a avid DXer primarily CW very familiar with antennas, I was looking for a vertical antenna without radials to mount on my RV, I currently us a DX88 but requires radials, Space is limited in most RV parks. I installed the Eurocomm, very disappointed. It did tune and could make contacts however in comparison to the DX88 (A/B switching) it was much noisier and about 15db ( 2 S units) down both TX and RX using on air reports. In fact there were many stations I could not hear or work on the Eurocomm, that I could hear and work easily on the DX88. I tried different mounting, swapping coax and many other things.

First Impression
Arrived today. Unboxed- missing one jubilee clamp from bag; bag unsecured and insufficient for shipping as small parts leaked out hole generated by sharp items inside. Washers and nuts were inside box, but it appears originator failed to quality check that all items were included. Will again review after installation and use.
