Great product easy install works as it should
This worked perfectly and the installation was a breeze. No leakage, a nice weight and it isn't made of cheap materials. It took just a few minutes to install. We even removed it and reinstalled to see if there could be any problems with reinstalling and we had no problems at all. The price was great for the quality especially when a product does what it is advertised to do.

Good product
The swivel is metal, well made and functions properly. Be wary though that the separation nuts from the factory are extremely tight and will require wrenches to get them apart.

Well built but not perfect for heavy (2.5 lb) shower head
Bought this to use on my 2.5 pound all metal shower head that didn't have any swivel. It does a good job at allowing me to angle the shower head slightly to the left/right, but isn't able to do much more than that.Whenever I try using the swivel to lift the shower head up, it immediately falls down because it is not capable of lifting the 2.5 pound shower head. The tighter you screw this in, the more rigidly it holds the shower head in place, and the more difficult it is to manually rotate your shower head. Despite that, even when screwed in all the way (by hand and using tools), it just is not mechanically capable of holding the 2.5 pound shower head up.I imagine for plastic shower heads this works very well, as all the parts seem very well built and durable. I do still get value out of it as-is because it does hold it well when it's hanging down but angled to the left/right, though. But for $20, I am a bit disappointed it can't hold the showerhead up.

Excellent product!
I just got my product today and got it installed. I don’t usually leave a review unless I absolutely hate the product or absolutely love it. I love this thing! It was easy to install and works very well. I’ve seen reviews about it not fitting with the size of the existing spout and or shower head. I don’t know why except that maybe whoever was installing it didn’t get the threads lined up properly. Also I’ve seen complaints about the shower falling because the ball joint was too loose and couldn’t hold the weight of the shower head. I thought that was going to happen with mine but the force of the water holds the ball joint in place once the shower is turned on. I am very happy with this product and I’m so happy that I can take a shower without having to stand at the end of my tub to get the water on me. I’m 70+ and a woman, if I can install this, anyone can.

Works Perfectly, Adjustable Tension Works, do not overtighten plumbing side.
Replaced two shower heads with hand held wands, they did not angle down enough after installation. I bought 2 of these for my roman shower and they are perfectly angled down now. I did use two wrenches to tighten up the ball joint so it could hold up the hand wands. Out of the box they will likely be too loose to hold the weight of the wands as many have commented. You can tighten the ball joint a lot but remember the parts that hook up to the plumbing and your showerhead should not be tightened down too much or they will leak. Whoever the plumber is who said these did not work is not a very good plumber. Picture w/water running.I am writing this as I am buying a 3rd hammerhead for the guest room shower. Worth the extra $$ BUY AMERICAN !!!
