Soooo Many Applications - Love this Product
The media could not be loaded. I am a big fan of Fosi amplifiers. They have a very small footprint, they are very easy to use, they address a variety of audio needs, all their models are well priced, they are extremely easy to hook up, and they have the power to generate great sound on both bookshelf and floor speakers. I use them in my home in different rooms, in my office, and outside by the pool. I use them to carry sound from my family room amp to sync into different rooms, to expand the sound of my TV, to control and play music in remote areas like the pool. With the small compact size and reliability they have also made a great addition for music and expanded TV sound in airb2b rental properties. As a testimonial to my satisfaction with Fosi -- this is the seventh Fosi amplifier I have purchased in the last three years.I purchased this Fosi DA-2120c to use in my office. The DA-2120c provides a variety of inputs including Bluetooth, Aux, Coax, USB and Optical. Connecting the amplifier in my office I am able to stream sound from the TV using optical interface, expand the sound from my PC using a USB connection, or I can simply play music from my phone via Bluetooth for background sound.Quality of the DA-2120c Unit:The amplifier is made out of aluminum, small, light weight and sturdy. The display on the front is OLED and very easy to see / read the source and volume level. The 2.1 stereo system easily powers passive speakers on a left and right channel, as well as a sub-woofer. While I typically use them for bookshelf size speakers, I have also used them to power larger floor speakers without issue.Package includes the DA-2020c unit, low voltage power cord, a 2-ft optical cable and the remote control.Installation:Hooking up the DA-2020c Fosi unit is extremely simple. It is truly plug and play. Connect the speaker wire to the right and left channel screw connectors, plug in the sub-woofer cable into the pin slot, plug in the electric cord and plug in any input cables you would like to use. Or as I do in my airb2b rentals -- you can simply set up the interface to use Bluetooth and power the audio speakers. The unit is so small and compact you can put them anywhere. In my airb2bs I put the amp on top of the kitchen cabinets so the amplifier is concealed, but still easy to access and use from your phone. How I use my Fosi Amp(s):I use my Fosi amps for a myriad of applications. I most often connect from my phone and use a music app like Spotify, Amazon music, Pandora, etc; but I can also Bluetooth directly from my Amazon Echo to expand the sound and use all the functions of Alexa; I use the optical cable interface to expand the sound of my TV or to have music carried from the larger amp in our family room to sync music throughout the house. I have also found a great application with TV installations where I use the Aux or optical interface and I control volume and stations with my television remote; or I use the USB connection interface to expand the sound of my PC.For Bluetooth pairing to the Fosi amp is very easy. While you cannot name the Fosi Bluetooth source, every model of Fosi Amp has a different name when you go to sync. While you can control volume and input sources from the Fosi device itself, I usually manage everything from the source – my phone, the TV, Alexa, or a larger amp in another room. When I need to I can use the handy remote control for the Fosi unit, but for most of what I need is volume control and doing it from the audio source gives me everything you need for control – When I need to change the input I use the Fosi handy remote control.I have implemented the DA-2120c in my office to stream audio from my computer, enhance the sound from my office television, and to simply play music from my phone in the background. The only feature I wish the Fosi amps included was the ability to Bluetooth connect to multiple Fosi amps at the same time.To summarize – the Fosi amp is dependable, reliable, super easy to hook up, easy to use, and has a wide range of applications. Love the product……...

All in one Wonderful!
I ordered this for my office to play music and tv sound. I also will use it with my computers. With the multiple connections as well as the blue tooth connection, this functions just fine! The Speakers I paired it with are cheap little speakers (RIOWOIS passive bookshelf speakers 4 inch version). They actually sounded really good with dac/amp. Now for the sake of the speakers I did not go past half way on the volume. But this DA2120C has plenty of power to drive bigger speakers. The build quality is excellent. Nothing feels cheap about it. It has a built in EQ that has several presets if you choose to use it. You can also set your own tone controls as well. Had it up and running in 5 minutes or less playing music off my phone over blue tooth. Very happy with the quality and sound. I would purchase this again if needed.

Great for the Price and General Listening. Doesn't come close to my Yamaha.
This is not a bad amp by no means but it doesn't replace an 800 dollar amplifier. Does this have big sound like a full sized stereo? Yes, mostly it does. However, I wouldn't trust it to drive super big speakers, some 3-way speaker where the speaker has an 8" woofer in it would be its safe limit. This amplifier should definitely not be over-driven and I wouldn't go over the "75" volume limit if you plan to keep it for years. "75" volume limit out of a 100 is roughly 75-80 watts @ 6 ohms which is plenty for general to loud but not crazy loud listening. This amplifier uses Texas Instruments Class D amp chips which are very good. These are not audiophile but they do a fantastic job for what they are and Texas Instruments makes some of the most rugged chips. The best use case is for an apartment for those that want big sound but aren't going to push more than 65w per channel out of it with a 100-150 watt sub to go with it. Now for most people this is way more than enough in this setting. This will provide plenty of better than average sound and still a bit over the limit enough to make neighbors more than unhappy with you. This is really a great amp for those that want good sound but aren't quite an audiophile. I'm closer to the audiophile side but not deep in it. The chassis is all metal the biggest weak point is the remote. The remote does have special abilities that aren't directly on the unit and since this is a cheap Chinese amplifier if you lose the remote you are screwed and likely to never find a replacement. I STRONGLY recommend having a cheap "learning remote" and put all the commands into that and putting away the original remote. I would recommend the following: URC7935 This remote can be found on Amazon and will learn from any remote. The Bluetooth is okay in a pinch but I certainly wasn't wowed by it. It sound off and compressed but this was in SBC which is great anyhow but I have another Bluetooth DAC receiver that makes SBC sound pretty good but its working miracles with nothing and I spent 120 bucks for it alone. I couldn't get it in aptX mode so that may be a redeeming for it but haven't tested it, as stated. Now the THD or Total Harmonic Distortion, which in audio is important. This product is making very bold claims that clearly don't hold water. This amp claims .01 THD and that's a very good laugh, do not expect it to be that good. This might be true at 2 watts a channel but most are going to be pushing 25-45 watts a channel for normal listening so you are actually looking at a THD of roughly .05-.07 THD which is okay but not too good. Most higher-end amps are .015-.03 THD at nearly max volume. However, for most people this isn't going to be an issue. People may start to notice it when pushing it at the volumes top end which is going over that 80 watts per channel mark at 6 ohms. audio stutters and dropouts will start to occur, as well as other audio artifacts. Bass will start dropping out and clipping at the top-end.Treat this amp for what it is. This is a very good general amp for general full sound listening at low to loud but not crazy loud listening with 80 watts a channel is more than enough for jamming out listening, especially with a sub. The amp is designed for 100 watts @ 6 ohms and as stated cut 20 percent of that and that's what you can truly get without harming the amp or distorting. This does have safeties build for over heating but if it trips that is still not okay because damage could still occur to the amp even if it tripped off for safety. Just be reasonable and this amp will last for many years to come. If you give it to a 15 year old boy it will be lucky to last a year.***Update***Update***Update***Update***Update1/26/2023I have gotten around to playing with this amplifier a bit more. Here's some getting started tips and so info on tid-bits i have learn from using for some time.First right after hooking this amplifier up turn off the "loudness as it make it sound too bassy and bloated to the point it interferes with voices. The "Loudness" feature is useless.Next hold the "Display" button till you see on the "L-Gain" and tap the "Display" button again and change it to "H-Gain". Changing this will give you more sound per watt and sound much closer to its rated 120w per channel or 80 usable watts @ 6ohms.This product claims it is a digital amplifier. Their is no such thing as a "Digital Amplifier". In an amp all digital signals are converted to analog right before it hits the amplifier chip. The amplifier is NOT digital, it is analog.Lastly. the Bluetooth does support up to aptX-HD for Bluetooth, I was hoping it did, so the bluetooth is better than average if it is used in the aptX-HD mode for bluetooth.
