The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham Paperback – 25 Sept. 2006

This sensitively written book is an absolute delight. It confirms feelings that I have had all my life but which seemed to be at odds with the conventional world around me. For those who are not bound by dogmas passed down from earlier less enlightened generations and would like to think for themselves, this book is a joyous revelation. I savour every sentence and regularly dip into the book for support and confirmation. The reasoning and patient way of reinforcing the universal laws are a sheer masterpiece, clearly spoken by very wise beings. The concepts help us to unlock the mysteries of how and why our lives follow the paths they do.If I had to pick just one book to have for the rest of my earthly life, this would be it. No superlatives are good enough.

I love this book, it is a reminder of our true natural state and the power we all possess whether we want to access it consciously or not. Thank you Esther, Jerry and Abraham

I love this book. It's on my phone kindle app... when I have a few spare minutes I read a couple of pages of wise and inspiring words. I'm always reading it with a smile on my face as I am reminded of all the good things I'm grateful for and want to attract. Highly recommended.

Ok so after reading this book and doing a bit of research, although there is truth in what the authors say, the basic teachings have been there throughout history anyway and put forward much better by previous philosophers. While I believe that the law of attraction exists, I’ve come to the conclusion that Jerry made up the whole Abraham thing and used Esther to perform it. I’d say save your money, go on you tube and watch “the secret” it’s basically the same thing, same lessons, without the funny fake put on accent of Esther claiming to talk to Abraham, which by the way isn’t a single person, but a group of spirits collectively known as Abraham who first contacted Esther by making her air write letters with her nose lol. In conclusion, the lines used in this book will make you laugh they’re so preposterous. Watch “the secret” by Rhonda Byrne instead for free.

A brilliant read

This book is a must read in understanding how the law of attraction works especially if you have a negative or victim mindset of "bad things always happen to me". While reading this book, I received a lot of inspiration and found it easier to observe my surroundings thus allowing my reality to shift. There are a lot of concepts and I'll definitely need to re-read to get a clearer understanding and wire in the new knowledge but from the first read, the book has helped me to shift my mindset. I've given it 4.5 stars only because I think a big part of LOA is the beliefs that we have and I would of liked this to be explored more. Also, there was a section talking about how we don't carry wounds from past lives but I currently believe that we do. After all, there is no ultimate truth but I still appreciated and recommend the teachings of this book.

This is the sweetness of books which should be shared with other books in your library. Esther and Jerry Hicks through the teachings of Abraham clearly outlines the fundamentals of the laws of attraction and how one can tune into this art. When I started this book I was unable to put it down at the end of the book I wanted more and more most of all the techniques transmitted by Abraham really is for our age to help and assist all of mankind towards a fulfilling enriched life. I practice each of the teachings from this book and my life is much more holistically balanced but most of all I have a deeper belief in myself.

Read this book on my kindle and through my kindle app on my phone. It took a while to read because I wanted to be clear in my understanding of it. From the beginning of reading it, the goose bumps went through me. It is truly amazing. I have read Infinate Possibilities by Mike Dooley and both books compliment each other beautifully. They have changed my attitude to life. I am a better person because of it. Reading about the universe has now become an addiction. What an amazing high!
