Mixed asnswers in reference to assembly: comes assembled or not?

It isn't assembled. My husband put it together pretty easily.

Is this good for a baby learning to crawl? Im looking for something to help her crawl because right now she just scoots herself on her forarms.

I personally don't think so, it's a stationary car with lights and balls and blocks, likes she driving her own car. It might encourage her to crawl toward the lights and sounds it makes or even might get her and moving to crawl toward all the action and play with the balls and blocks it comes with. I wish you all the luck in the world. Just have fun and she will be crawling soon!

Can the door stay latched closed?

It doesn't have a latch or lock. It just opens and closes.
