Zebco Crappie Fighter Spinning Reel and Fishing Rod Combo

The Zebco Crappie Fighter is a fantastic fishing rod combo that has truly exceeded my expectations. As someone who has owned many Zebco rods and reels over the years, I can confidently say this one stands out for its fast action and responsiveness. I bought this rod specifically to take my granddaughter fishing for panfish, and it did not disappoint.I was pleasantly surprised by how well the reel casted and retrieved, especially considering the affordable price. The rod came pre-spooled with 6-pound test line, which was more than sufficient for catching panfish. Overall, this is a great little rod for a nice price, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a fun and efficient fishing experience.

I have caught tons of crappie on this thing with the mono that comes right on the combo! All I did was tie on jigs an head to my local lake and BOOM! The tip is sensitive enough to feel subtle bites from lethargic crappie and other fish in cold water. It’s a great jigging rod and I love it so far I may buy a few more!

I like the rod, but the reel is not the best and the line that comes spooled on it is even worse. Constantly tangles and have to rip out line to get it going again. Tried spooling with different line and didn’t fix the issue. The rod is worth the price I think, but will definitely be getting a better reel to throw on it.

You can not go wrong with this one my son bought it for his niece because she wanted me the papa to take her to our friends pond for day of fishing and lunch, This set up is ACES FROM end to the other and the reel is a beauty can't believe it the PERFECT set up for either a you boy or girl to start out with HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

I bought this crappie rod hoping it was a decent one. When I received the first one the tip was broken off in the shipping. Returned that one got the new one a few days later. Went crappie fishing and the first fish I caught a 9 inch crappie snapped the pole in half. Don't buy this rod it isn't worth it. Go to Walmart and but the $9.99 one it doesn't break so easily.

The combo is great. The shipping was horrible. I had to bend two guides back to the original position. The rod ends were sticky out of the box.

Just received and am anxious to get it out on the water. Looks very well made and durable. Love the 12 ft length and the printed on measure to measure crappie. And at under forty bucks, this is a great buy.

Ok so where to start. There wasn't much in the description so I will try to cover it.The picture shows a different reel than what it came with. The reel I got is orange not yellow, much smaller than what is pictured, at least from my perspective. The reel seems it belongs on a 24" ice fishing rod. (will use this reel on the 5'6 Zebco rod I also ordered. I will be using a Kastking 500 on this rod with 4-6 lb, or 10lb braid.The rod: it is nice and light on the tip like it should be. The guide inserts seem to be plastic. The guides are weak, and I don't know how long they will hold up. One of them was folded over when I got it, so I bent it back in place. The first guide from reel end has a burr pressing the heat shrink out and will cut through it sooner rather than later. The threads on real seat are not grooved very deep at all, I think with use the adjusting screw will pop back over the threading after some use.They don't show the tip of the rod in the picture, but there is about 6" of Orange, which will help to see any nibbling/bites. The foam handles are firm and easy to grip.My plan is to use for Crappie and White Perch. I normally fish for Bass/Stripers/Cats, but wanted to expand on types without going broke buying "more toys". If this catches some fish, and lasts one season I will be okay with that at this price.
